En el campo no pueden faltar las gallinas, es un ave importante para el ser humano ya que tiene una gran demanda por su carne y los huevos que ponen, debido a que no pueden faltar en un desayuno o en el almuerzo, bien sea en pericos, fritos entre otras preparaciones.
Esta gallina es cruzada, es decir es mitad criolla y mitad de alta postura, son muy buenas a la hora de encubar los huevos y criando a los pollitos.
Yo siempre las utilizo ya que me son mas factibles y las alimento con maiz amarillo, blanco, alimento y algunos vegetales para que se mantengan en buenas condiciones.
Su carne es muy buena para la preparacion de sopas y picadillos solo es cuestion de agregarles muchos ingredientes que le aporten mas sabor, como el comino, adobo, sal, cubito y pimienta.
