The Diary Game | Betterlife | Visit the Rainbow Village

Today, Saturday 19 June 2021, me, my wife and our children plan to visit the Gayo highlands, to just relax while releasing fatigue and boredom due to very tiring daily activities.
We chose the highlands as a place for refreshing because in addition to the beautiful and natural scenery, the highlands also have a cool temperature, even in certain locations the air temperature is almost cold, very suitable for a moment of rest.

In addition to just changing the atmosphere on the weekend, on this trip we also scheduled a visit to Rainbow Village, which located on the Lake Lut Tawar ring road, Central Aceh.

Our journey started in the morning, we left the house at around nine in the morning, taking a shortcut route from the evasive road to the Mount Salak route.
This path is the closest road from our area to the Central Aceh region, but the terrain conditions on this route are quite extreme, because apart from having to pass winding roads with steep inclines and descents, due to poorly maintained roads there are also many holes in several locations, so we have to drive very carefully

After almost two hours of struggling on the road that is extreme but has a very beautiful view, we arrived in Redelong City, Bener Meriah Regency, we stopped for a moment at the Refueling Station to take a break, also to add fuel to the vehicle, because the roads were we will still have a long way to go

After refueling, we continued our journey, we took a shortcut route by not passing through the city center of Takengon to avoid congestion due to the chaotic traffic of vehicles on weekends, this route is a little outside the city which leads past the Puteri Pukes tourist site on the ring road Lut Tawar lake goes to Bintang District and if we continue on this path we will arrive back at Takengon city center

Along the way we are treated to natural beauty that spoils the eye, on the right we stretch a wide lake with clear blue water, while on the left side is a mountain with steep cliffs.

The condition of the road infrastructure also looks good and the asphalt is smooth, so this long journey feels very comfortable, even though the size of the road is not too wide

After forty-five minutes on this path, we finally arrived at our destination, from a distance we could see simple houses belonging to local residents painted colorfully, some of them even resembled a rainbow, we stopped here to go around the village, chatting with local residents while enjoying the beauty that is different from other tourist sites that we have visited before.

Actually the concept applied by the local community is quite simple, the Village Government only provides paint of several bright colors, then it is handed over to the homeowner to do the painting in a mutual cooperation, they take advantage of the moment very timely, when the virtual world is more vibrant than the real world, they create an instagramable village atmosphere so that celebgrams flock to this destination.

We are also part of the victims of this curiosity, but we are all quite satisfied because we can see firsthand the atmosphere of this village, for sure the people here are very friendly and respect every guest who comes

Among all of us, my youngest daughter looks the most enthusiastic and enjoys this atmosphere, because the streets look a bit deserted, she endlessly runs from one flower cluster to another to pay attention, even picking some flowers that are deliberately planted by local people to add to the beauty their village

It was noon, we continued our journey following the ring road to Takengon City, actually we still wanted to linger in this village, but because our stomachs were starting to feel hungry we had to leave immediately to find a food stall.
This is very unfortunate, the community or culinary entrepreneurs should also open a food stall, so that visitors can be more comfortable and not in a hurry to leave this location just because the stomach feels hungry.

Hopefully in the future there will be parties who will find a solution to improve this condition
