Steeming Community Weekly Mini-Contest "My Name is Who?" | I Am heartmich

Good day steemnians! How's life going on? I hope you're doing fine despite all of the circumstances that happen in our life.

Today, I wanted to share my entry in #steemingcommunity with you, which entails what is the story behind my steemit name.

My true name is Michelle Matidios and I am @heartmich in steemit. Honestly, I only copy my username on Facebook. I used the first @heartmich username in my social media such as Facebook and Instagram but now I changed it since I become a teacher.

WHY HEARTMICH?

Honestly, way back in my high school days, I fell so in love because for many reasons. I found true friends in my high school days. Despite all my flaws, they accepted me and help me to embrace and love my flaws. They are one of the reasons why the heart was the first noun after my nickname, Mich.

HEART because it symbolizes LOVE where love is the most powerful weapon we can have. HEART also not boosting myself, but I am a soft-hearted woman wherein I easily feel mercy and get pitty towards others. Loving and helping people is my favorite deed. Sharing my small blessing and sharing what things I have. Loving and helping other people makes me a woman. It's like I am doing whats my purpose on this earth and why God allows me to be alive and still living the gift of life from Him.

TO WHOM YOU DEDICATE YOUR USERNAME?

I dedicated this name to my best friends. They are one of the reasons why I came out of this username. They love me for who I am and until now we still have each other. We never leave each other because we know that this friendship we have is like a treasure that it's so precious to let go of. When looking back hurts and looking forward scares you, look beside you and your best friend will be there. That's how friendships really work. They never leave you even in the darkest days of your life.

I also dedicated my username to my parents. They are the ones who taught me how to love. They showered us with love for us to know how to love truly with other people. They also taught us to love one another no matter what will happen. They also taught us how to forgive other people no matter how big or small it is. Love should be the one who dominated our life not angry. I couldn't ask for another parent because you too are the best parents in the whole world.

ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH YOUR USERNAME?

Honestly, yes! It makes me remember to do good and to spread love. It motivates me to continue doing well even with how hard the situation is. I couldn't afford to change my username here on this platform because it helps me to make a better one and makes me who I am today.

I will continue using this name with PRIDE, LOVE, and DIGNITY in this community.
