Good day steemians! I hope you doing fine. Please allow me to share with you my adventurous experienced.
Esoy Hot Spring is the only hot spring and only two natural thermal pools in the northern part of Cebu. It is located in Brgy. Duyan, Catmon, Northern Cebu.
With an entrance fee: ₱350 per adult, ₱175 per kid (below 10 years old).
But they informed us we would need a tour guide and entrance fee ₱350 for all-inclusive (not food). This included the guide accompanying us to the waterfall, into the caves and access to the hot springs. Also we need to wear a life-vest.
Moving forward, for the first timer like me the Esoy Hot Spring in Catmon is definitely a good choice to those people who love tricking and adventurous. However, “No Booking, No Entry” Policy is strictly implemented, because there's covid, the people has limited to go there. You need to have a reservation first before coming there. I suggest leaving Cebu City early in the morning.
The tour guide is very accommodating and he give us a history background about the Esoy spring. He said that the temperature of the water has changed and some of the springs that were previously hot are no longer heated. Due to earthquakes and natural changes.
Hot spring pools are extremely relaxing and beautiful. For me it’s worth it to go there. But there was one corner where the water poured directly out of the wall and this was really warm. Actually it has a rich source of sulfur and its healing benefits include treating skin irritations and infections such as promotes blood circulation and remove body toxins, among others.
And that was the end of our adventure to Esoy Hot Springs. This place is perfect for those who are adventurous. The place was very peaceful and you will see the real beauty of nature. Affordable and worth it.
It really amazed me to the Gods creation. You will enjoy and relax in this place.
