MY FAMILY

I am Lucky from Nigeria. I am happy to be on Steemit. I am married and above is a photograph of me, my wife and my daughter. My wife and my child are very dear to me and I feel happy when ever I think of them because even if I do not have much, my family means the world to me.

My wife is very hardworking and she supports me financially with a small provision store she runs at the market. My daughter is intelligent and very well behaved and this pleases me. Recently I learned a very valuable lesson of the importance of the family. My daughter fell ill with malaria fever and she was admitted in the hospital.

It was a very stressful period for me and her mother. She lost a lot of weight and we thought we would lose her but thankfully the Almighty was in control. That was when I realized that a child is the greatest treasure.

My family makes me feel rich even though I am a poor man. I advise people to take family seriously because most of the time, family is all you have.
