East We Go!

Every year, it is our goal to visit my husband's hometown in Leyte, Philippines. A province located in the Eastern Visayas region. But because of the pandemic and travel restrictions, we were not able to visit last year.

Now, lucky we are because we were given again the chance to visit this lovely hometown and even explore to another awesome tourist spot in the province.

Introducing, White Ridge Spring Resort located at Puting Bato, Isabel, leyte, Philippines.

It was actually a super hot Friday afternoon when we had our road trip in the town. Our initial plan was to go on a beach on the next town but the kids who are going with us got dizzy in the trip so we end up finding a nearby place to eat our lunch together and where we can take some cold plunge.

White ridge spring resort is situated on a nearby mountain area. The owner developed a pool for everyone to enjoy swimming in a spring water the safest way especially for kids. And mind you, the water tastes great compared of course to a regular swimming pool with lots and lots of bleach or chlorine on it. You may say that I tasted the water where we swam, but no, we tasted the water directly from its source flowing down to the pool. Lol.

I can say that the resort is really cool. It's like the only structure in the area. Away from the noise, the pollution, the chaos, and all those toxicity from our regular days in the city. The smell of fresh air and water, the nearby greenery mountain tops, plus the presence of your loved ones, really makes the stay worthwhile.

Upon entering the resort, since we just stopped by in there with no initial plan of going, I was amazed because it only took Twenty five pesos per person for the entrance fee. Yes, as in P25.00 only, so we immediately unload our foods and stuffs.

For those who have some plan for a vacation in the province of Leyte, you may take a personal look on the spring resort.
Like us who travelled from Palompon leyte port, it took us Thirty one minutes of travel in a distance of twenty kilometers. For everyone who wants to go on a undisturbed vacation, I can say that this place is suitable for you because you can never be disturbed on any notifications in your phone because it has no signal in there.
