The Quest For Steem For The Plankton

I find myself in the deep blue sea surrounded by a diverse set of aquatic life. There are four territories down here; the eastern, western, southern and northern territories. We are also ranked based on our level of influence into planktons, dolphins, orcas and whales. The whales are the custodians of the various territories and have appointed orcas as captains of their elite armies.

It is survival for the fittest in this arena. I am only but a plankton who has no defense mechanism neither do I possess the fins to pull off an escape. I mostly stay hidden in plane site and focus on growing myself in hopes of conquering the sea someday. Steem is our only source of survival so I light the torch including daytime to accumulate some of it. Once I gain upto 5,000 steem, I can then become a dolphin.

Fortune smiles upon me one day and I gained the favor of an orca. She has 250,000 steem and commands a large army of dolphins in the eastern territory of the deep blue sea. She has been quietly observing me from afar and had been moved by my level of hardwork. As such, she was kind enough to usher me into her kingdom and granted me safe passage by announcing my presence to the entire territory. Not only that, she also instructs her people to grant me periodic access to the bullion of steem so that I can grow and become independent as well. Sooner than later, I joined the ranks of dolphins after absorbing over 5,000 steem.

The norm of the ocean was to focus on oneself and increase in rank but that did not sound right to me. Instead, I began to support the various planktons with my steem as I understood how it felt to be defenseless and lonely. Many dolphins here in the eastern territory solely relied on the bullion of steem but I said to myself, why not support each other to reach a higher level? My ideas moved the orca of our territory once again and she decided to inform my good conducts to the higher authority, the eastern territory whale.

This whale has 1,500,000 steem and decided to help me achieve my dream of climbing up the ranks. He supported me until I also became an orca having 60,000 steem. Moved by my ideas, the whale of the eastern territory intructed every single dolphin and orca to support the planktons as well as each other so that we could all be independent someday. I will now be supporting all everyone in the territory and continue to work towards my dream of becoming a whale.
