First of all I will like to acknowledge the founders of steemit (Ned Scott and Dan Larimer) and the entire steemit community as a whole for giving me this wonderful opportunity to express my journey on the steemit discourse community.

It all started about three months ago when my brotherly friend @verdad informed me about a platform called “steemit” which is very interesting and has incentives for its members for their daily activities on the platform through curators and other means, he said all the good things about steemit but I did not give him the necessary attention because most of such platforms turns out to be scam. By that time too I was in school and my examination was approaching so he told me when I return for vacation he will aid me in the signing-up and the operation of the system, so he ask me again not to worry because steemit is real and unique from the others. So finally I came home for the vacation and I was about to sign-up after his advice to me, I opened the steemit page but unfortunately after filling all the required information my phone’s verification really delayed because my phone number was described invalid by the system due to a problem I guess was a system upgrade, so after a total number of failed sign-up attempt I exercised patience and finally went through to become a steemian on 12 May, 2021.
I was really impressed, perplexed and felt amazed about the structures of the various communities and their daily endeavors or operations this is basically because I have never been on such a block chain network or platform before. The feeling was totally different and I felt so good when I joined the platform.
So far so good, I have really enjoyed being on this Noble platform in fact I am already an addict, everyday I log in just to have a feel of the steemit environment and to upgrade myself of the system in order to partake in various steemit contests. I am still looking for the best.
To be precise I really appreciate the platform because of its uniqueness, impacts and its benefits to the steemians in terms of income and academic excellence, but I will like to express my recommendation or suggestions about the platform.
Firstly, I think the developers should include a direct chat feature where by fellow steemians will be able to directly chat with each other.
Secondly, I also think there should be a notification for various contests and activities to the specific community members in their profile or account.
The above are my humble suggestions.
I think is never too late for me to become a legend or to be a great individual on steemit such as @juichi. I will put in much effort to be recognized as an outstanding member just like @cryptocannon and many other great people on steem by the means of creating a community or communities, curating contents and organizing contests.
I will send my humble invitation to my friends @rexxalo @kizblizx @ciru2014 to partake in this appealing contest.
My regards to @juichi for initiating such a great opportunity or contest to the beginners of the steeming community in order to boost our total morale.

Owners of steemit? You need to do a lot more research about the platform, it would help.
I think there was issues then for people verifying their phone numbers, thank God its now resolved.
