Just packaged and uploaded Hivebar 0.0.1, which puts a price ticker of HIVE and HBD into your status bar.
- The price is fetched from @coingecko API.
- You can set a custom interval, in seconds.
- An 🆙 emoji appears if the price is up in the last 24 hours
Set Custom interval | Success |
---|---|
Notes
- The application is not signed since I didn't register an Apple developer account, yet. It's also possible that you can package yourself. (Instructions are below)
- command line developer tools needs to be installed for the app to run.
Instructions to package it yourself
$ python3 -m venv hivebar-env
$ source hivebar-env/bin/activate
$ git clone https://github.com/emre/hivebar
$ pip install rumps py2app requests
$ cd hivebar
$ python setup.py py2app
Check /dist directory.
Awesome work! We're glad to be able to provide our API for your needs.

Hi there
I've been reading through many comments related to new hive chain and I've seen your comment too. Many users are being torn, however majority seem to be moving to new hive.
Are you fully moving there or will you stay on both chains? Just curious. I'm trying to figure out what to do myself.

Probably will stay on both chains. I don't think as a business they'd chose a side, just here to mingle with the community and put their brand out there.

Big Thx for your reply. I think i will stick around on both chains for time being.
I also figured that you may find this post interesting and worth your time:

It's post published by good friend of mine and I'm helping him to promote their curation trail.
