Hello kids, how are you all doing today? It's feels great to participate in the week's developing kids creativity contest that is conducted by @saracampero. I made a wall clock with my kid sister and I would love / gladly share the steps with you all. Below, I will list out the materials used in making the wall clock before proceeding to the steps carried out.
The materials are;
- Cardboard paper
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Foam disposable plate
- Super glue
- White board marker
- Beads
- Pencil
The steps include;
Step 1: Cut the cardboard paper to make clock face
The first step is to draw a circle (small and slightly bigger) using pencil before cutting it with scissors following the line.
Step 2: Glue the edges together
Use glue or gum to glue the both edges of the paper together then use marker to number 1 to 12 round.
Step 3: Cutting the foam disposable plate
Use scissors in cutting the foam disposable plate to your desired shape. Use glue to gum beads and the foam disposable plate to the second layer (small) of the clock.
Step 4: Add Hands
Add the three hands (second, minutes and hour) of the clock.
Step 5: Cut Ribbon to add design
After cutting the ribbon, use scissors to drag it to get the rosy design down before gumming the ribbon to the clock.
Be careful so the beads won't pull out while trying to dry
It is as simple as that kids, you can give a try.
What actually inspired me to make this clock is from my encounter with my kid sister yesterday; I jokingly asked her to check time for me, she went to the clock and returned boldly to tell me that the time was "1, 4, 6 O'clock" . I laughed so hard inside and told her "thank you" that from today, she'll start learning how to read clock.
Clock is one of the things we can't do without, our lives and activities depends on it because it helps to manage our daily routines. Out of all the toys in the world, clock is one of the most important because it helps growing kids to tell time fast and also know how to acquire something meaningful on time. Thank you kids and lover of kids for reading through.
I'm inviting @madilyn02 @wizzyboy3 and @ibtisamwaqas to join the contest by using the contest link as guidelines.
Best Regards;
