Hello steemians, hope we are all doing great? I'm delighted to make my first entry in the #Steemkids community. And also happy to share my unforgettable steemit surprise with you all. Thanks to @ngoenyi,@steemkids for organizing this contest.
MY UNFORGETTABLE STEEMIT SURPRISE
My unforgettable steemit surprise was when I took the first position at a traditional food contest organized by @steemitfoods. The contest was specially organised for the African Region in the #SteemFoods community and was sponsored by professor @gbenga. When the contest was organised, I had seen many great entries. Wondering what could I present again.
Since it was traditional, I thought about making our Yoruba Vegetable soup called efo riro, which I did . I also decided to complement it with a typical swallow meal, wheat meal to enjoy it with. Honestly I only wished, at least, to be among the winners, may be third, since 5 winners would be selected. And already many entries were submitted, even men participated.
It was also my first post in the SteemFood. As usual, all good contest entries were selected as "best post of the day", on a daily basis. Mine was also selected. I was happy. This could have been expected.
After the contests had ended, I got another notification :@steemitfoods mentioned you. I checked it was the result announcement.
And to my utmost surprise, I was chosen as first winner, with 25 steem prize and vote from steemcurator01. Tears of joy trickled down my face. I wasn't expecting it at all.
HOW DID YOU FEEL AT THE MOMENT
I felt so glad. It didn't see it coming. And it was my first post and first contest entry in the community.
I'm really grateful to @alikcoc07 the admin of the community and @gbenga, the sponsor of the contest.
WHO DID YOU SHARE THE SURPRISE WITH
The joy was overwhelming, I shared it on the African Steem Food WhatsApp Group Chat and with my Steemit friend @tmighty.

CONCLUSION
