Childhood we all know is a beautiful phase of life and as a child nothing lightens our mood as gifts from our loved ones. Children love gifts and especially when it comes from their loved ones. I’d say nothing lightens a childs mood like a beautiful suprise gift.
In my childhood days I had some pleasant suprise gifts here and there but this suprise gift I want to talk about really stood out for me because of the situation surrounding it and I’ve not forgotten about it and I relish it every moment I get a flash back of it hence I call it my Christmas gift in July. |

What was the most memorable gift of the childhood?
Growing up as kids, we looked back to Christmas seasons as they one full of memories, sweet memories. In my family, Christmas season is a big deal and We look forward to Christmas because of the beautiful gifts my mum and dad buys for us during Christmas.The beautiful dresses, shoes, toys and foods were a joy to my childhood. The energy in the anticipation is so high.
This particular year took a different turn. We were in the house one day and my dad and mum gave back and gave me a beautiful gift pack. In my mind I said It’s July for crying out loud. The gifts only comes at Christmas. So what’s this all about.? Nevertheless I proceeded to unwrap my gift and lo and behold, it a beautiful flowery flowing pink gown. Ohhhhh my God!. That’s like the best dress I’ve had all my life. It was so beautiful and magical, I started screaming on top of my voice and dancing around. My parents watched with excitement in their eyes as I showed forth my drama in relation to the surprise gift.
Then they said that your Christmas dress. It came earlier, in July actually. Oh my God. I was so excited and I had to neatly fold the dress away right under the bottom of my box. I couldn’t wait for Christmas to showcase my new dress. It was indeed a beautiful suprise. My Christmas in July suprise.
Who gave you this gift?
My Christmas in July gift was given to me by my parents. It was a very thoughtful gift and it coming earlier than expected made all the difference. It made me felt secure in their love and glad they could plan ahead to ensure I was happy.
Would you feel happy on this surprise gift?
Happiness was an understatement. I was over joyed. I was elated. My joy knew no bounds. And it really made me feel so loved. The suprise was so dramatic that I would once in a while bring out the dress and admire it and put it right back in the bottom on my box while awaiting the D day. And when Christmas came, I brandished my beautiful Christmas in July dress with a matching shoe and accessories. It was a gift to remember.
