The Diary Game || 31-05-24 || Activities as a Corper - Imparting Knowledge to students in High School

Dear Dairy

I woke up this morning feeling so tired and lazy wishing today to be Saturday, before I could finish with my morning chores it was already 7 :15am, which I had to suspend every house just and breakfast as well so I could meet up with morning assembly which is compulsory for all stuff.

Morning Activity

I arrived at school at 7:38am why assembly started 7:30am. Friday assembly usually holds in the school hall and it's stipulated time for Fridays assembly is 7:30am - 8:40am. the topic for the week that ended today is Reward Of Royalty Memory Verse Eph 1:7 after the salmon by a staff, Morning meditation was read by a students named Favour Uwem she tagged it INTEGRITY. I quote FAVOUR UWEM Integrity is not merely a virtue to be upheld during one's academic years, it is a lifelong commitment that paves the way for personal and professional growth. By embracing integrity as a guiding principle, students cultivate a reputation of integrity that precedes them, opening doors to opportunities and fostering meaningful connections built on trust and honesty. After which students returned to their classes.

After the assembly, I had class with JSS 2B I handle Basic Science and today's topic was information and communication technology (ICT). The class was an interactive one because the topic isn't new to the students although I had few students that's were not catching up with the others. The class lasted for 1hr 20mins.

Returning back to the staff room myself and other teachers talked about the current talk of the town in my dear country Nigeria which is changing of our national anthem and how that isn't problem of my dear country Nigeria.

Afternoon Activity

I had to excuse myself to go prepare for my second class for the day which is JSS 1A. The topic for today was SPACE TRAVEL another interesting topic which we had an interactive class as well that also lasted for another 1hr 20mins. After the class I stayed back to talk to the students letting them know that education is more then just knowing how to read and write. Education also involves Portraying good character in class and in a society at large.

I am a member of JET club which means Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists.The Motto of my club is Invention is our supreme task. The first speaker talked about invention and he went further to say curiosity brings about invention for you to be able to invest something you should be curious about solving problem. Thomas Edison was the case study for today's lesson. How he tried several times in his invention of electric bulb.

Evening Activity

I have been craving for white rice with vegetable sauce for days now so I had to go to market to get few things remember in my introduction post I had mentioned i love cooking. On my way back home I saw beautiful flower I couldn't help to take pictures of it.

I got home and did Justice to the things I got from market.

Basically my activity for the day was to impacting knowledge into the Students
