Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W4:Childhood or adulthood, which do you prefer? by @b-naj

Special greetings once more everyone! I am here again with my entry for week 4 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 3. I'd like to invite @rockana, @moer, @nasrud, @simonnwigwe, @wyleska, @temitopef, @bongk, @sahmie and @prilly to come partake in this contest.

From the best of my knowledge, in my country Cameroon, a child is considered to be someone who is less than 18 years old. In as much as we consider minors to be any human being below the age of 21 years, a child is considered to be anyone below 18 years. A child is entitled to good education, good standard of living, and perfect health conditions, just to name a few. He/she is to be taken care of and has no significant right to take certain decisions yet. His/her parents are in charge of all decision making and life's expenses, since they are termed a dependent age group.

On the other hand, an adult is considered to be someone who has either attained or surpassed the age of 18 years. Such early stages can be referred to as adolescents, which marks the beginning to the pathway of adulthood. An adult is expected to be able to make decisions for him/her self, as well as take care of themselves. Adults are declared independent and responsible for every action they take.

Before i answer this question, i'd like to blatantly point out that if this question was asked in my childhood days, i'd say Adulthood; however i now know better to say Childhood.
So, i'd prefer my childhood days because i miss doing things irrespective of what opinion people may develop, because at the end, penalizing a child is somewhat unreasonable.

• Lack of responsibilities:
  As a child, i have little or no worries because all my needs are the responsibility of my lovely parents.

• Health fitness and agility:

  Some health complications are very rare or completely absent in children, but as we grow older, these health problems gradually set in. Some examples are our visions, good looks and flexibility.

• Motivational gifts:

  As children, we are often motivated with gifts and surprises for every good act we execute. We are trained to be able to know right from wrong. In as much as some homes disciplines the child, my home rather rewards good deeds. So it is absurd not to wanna do the right thing and miss out on your reward while others are getting theirs 😃.

Adulthood	Childhood

Don't get me wrong, despite the fact that i am a big fan of my childhood days, i won't wanna stay there forever, because life has so much to offer with the best part of it being able to live throughout time, experiencing new things and changes, learning from mistakes, and eventually becoming responsible for another human being's childhood days. It is only at this point that you learn to appreciate the different stages of life, and agree that no stage is an easy way out, rather a preparation for what's next.
