The old adage that "time waits for no man" will never go out of style. Everybody lives by the same 24-hour clock, and if scientists may be believed, a day lasts only about 23 hours and some change.
The way an individual spends his or her time says a lot about who they are and sets them apart from the rest. Time management is just as fundamental to daily survival as things like food and shelter.

The maxim "time is of the essence" has constantly been repeated to us. Although it goes without saying that we are all human, it is ironic to claim that most of our advisors are poor examples of time management.
Time misappropriation, bad time management, and time malpractice (Lol!) are all things of which I am guilty as a human female. How could that be true?
My worst time management fault is diverting time that should have been spent on something more important to me.
A small girl at home was my inspiration for this side hustle since I keep recalling how easily we let ourselves be carried away by meaningless details. I'll be the first to admit that she did something wrong, but as her teacher and mentor (at least back then), it was my job to determine the daily schedule of classroom activities, and trust me when I say that playing with my phone and secretly crushing on my younger sister weren't on the agenda.
The child was content since it wasn't all work; she got to play, and she even fell in love with a boy she'd only seen on the phone but hasn't met in person. We had to take time out of every lesson to keep her education and relationship continuing because of this unanticipated long-distance romance.
It was amusing to observe children attempting adult tasks in a childlike manner, but the challenge was in finding a good balance between work and play; when the latter dominated, it was clear that the teachers had failed to properly manage their time.
Even more so, what's the point?
Even though my student loved me very much and we looked very much alike, like mother and daughter, I was not the best teacher ever. I also remember times when I would just mindlessly scroll through my phone's feed, with no particular destination in mind.
In other words, I wasn't searching for anything in particular, and I still don't know what I'm looking for, so I simply keep scrolling. Yes, it's true that smartphones were made with addiction in mind. Nonetheless, we need to control our own destiny.

It's just a waste of time. It was not present in the past, but is now. Make the most of your time is sound advice that you should follow.
Experts agree that setting priorities is a crucial part of managing one's time effectively. Especially if we are able to get our mobile devices out of the way, we can be guaranteed to be exceptional time managers if we can get the most critical things out of the way and follow through on an order of priority.
