In every organisation or group there must be a meeting or meetup set aside to discuss the growth and the things to amend in order for the group or organisation to stand firm. That was what happened on last Saturday in different states that made up of nigeria in steemit platform. The main aim of this meetup was basically based on the agenda as shown below;
- Encouraging both old and new steemians to remain active.
- Explaining engagement challenge to all and the need to take part in it.
- Power up and club status
- Steem promotion in our cities
- Our plans to reactivate Roadshows.
- Taking advantage of available mentors and keeping up to date.
- Avoid steeming in isolation, we Steem better by learning from others.
- Air your concerns and challenges.
As a steemian who was present in the meetup, there was no questions asked that our preciding moderator @goodybest could not answer. She did perfectly well by answering all the questions throw on her by the new and old steemian. She was also help or assisted to explain some of the question by the state co-ordinator in person of @manuelhooks and our country rep.@frequantum. They were all wonderful with their respectful answers. I was so impressed and convinced by the answers.
Sure it will. The meetup was great to the extent that,I wouldn't what the meeting to dismissed fast. It was very fun and interactive meeting and I enjoyed it, and am sure all the presents steemian learnt a lot from there. If not, no one would've wish the meetup to hold again.
In summary of what was discussed during the meetup, the old and new steemian were advice to remain active, to continue blogging without looking at what is already in the publish post. The old steemian shares their experience they had when they started and by the experience we the new people was encouraged. The advantage of engaging in community challenges and rendering vote or good comments on other user post was deliberated and the disadvantages too.
Supporting the community, charity was also emphasized either my delegtion or donation. A lot of questions was asked by the presents steemian and all were taking care of. The moderator said that the community is working so hard to make sure that no post publish by a steemian pays out 0 cent so that the user will not be discouraged. The need of Powering up, maintaining desire club but not thinking to power down was discussed. Seven steemian attended the meeting in Uyo, with the attendance listed below; @goodybest (moderator), @manuelhooks (city coordinator), @okere-blessing, @bossj23, @gwillchrist and @bela90 and the meet-up came to an end at 6:15pm This is my summary about the last meet-up.
