"Who is a Moderator on the Steemit Platform"

In today, I will be sharing my view base on the questions being asked in this contest, but before I start answering the questions, I will love to invite @edidiongeffiong, @gwillchrist and @chiomy810 to join this contest.

Describe your understanding of who a moderator is in the steemit platform?

In steemit platform, a moderator is someone who dedicate himself or herself to carry out the work of a leader which requires extra effort, time to be able to do the work. A moderator is one of the person that organizes contest, read and assess all the entries in order to bring out the winners at the end of the contest. In the steemit Platform,a moderator is someone that should have a spirit of working hand and hand together with other moderator, Admin to bring out the best in the respectful community in which he/she moderate.

A moderators in steemit platform is also a person who will be able to give a comprehensive weekly summary of what he does, such as how many post he/she assess, give advice during the week. Some of the moderators can also curate posts in steemit platform depending if the moderator is assigned to. This is who I think is a moderator is in steemit Platforms.

What are the things a moderator is supposed to check in every post?

In every post, the moderator read and assess the post if it meet the steemit requirements as such;

Be in club: Club Status is important in steemit. In order to be eligible to participate in a contest, you must belong to a club.
Free from plagarism: This is unacceptable in steemit Platform if not you will be disqualified from the contest or you may not have your post be curate if it contain plagarism.
Steemexclusive : For your post to be visible in steemit Platform, you must include Steemexclusive in every of you post.
Scores the Post depending on how quality the post is.

What criteria do you think a user must obtain for him/her to become a moderator?

In my opinion, I think the criteria to become a moderator depends on what the community want. Is the community that is in need of a moderator will come out with their criteria in which any steemian who meant the requirements can apply and from there, after being asses by the Admin and other moderator, they can then say you are fit to be. In essence, the criteria should include this in their Account status;

Time on steemit Platform
Having at Least 2000 steem power
Having a reputation up to 65
Club Status
Out going delegation and incoming delegtion
Voting CSI

All these depends on the community as I said earlier, some community, other things may be included such as suitability, ability to solve challenges, the topic you which to handle and many more.

If you are not yet a moderator, which community will you like to work in as a moderator and give reasons for your answers

Being a leader is not an easy thing. In order to do my work effectively, I will love to work only in two communities.

Steem4nigeria: Serving my country community will give me joy. This community has a lot of activities that you can engage yourself with.
Steem kids and parents community: This community involved two important people that teaches us what we should know about life, what we will face as upcoming parents, how to overcome or handle and what to expect.This community is unique

This two communities had awesome moderators that make a good impact on steemian. I love them with their unity team work and I will love to work with them.
