Weekly Drawing Contest || Week #30 Begin: Draw Your Favorite Pet

Welcome to my blog. Today I will be participating in this contest organized by @eliany in Steem kids and parents community. This week contest is so interesting because it's very challenging with title' draw your favorite pet'. my pet is a rabbit so I will be showing the steps I use in drawing my favorite pet.

Be creative and show me your skills.

Material:

• A4 paper
• Pencil
• skin marker (black)
• Eraser

I start by drawing my pet head using backward 'C' curve

Drawing the rabbit body, the ear, eye and the rabbit whiskers and fur.

Include the rabbit two hands and position the rabbit lapse

Draw the rabbit leg and the small tail and make hairs around the body

Include more rabbit hairs and use the skin marker to line the rabbit for proper visual.

Describe your favourite pet

Rabbits, also known as bunnies or bunny are small, furry mammals with long ears, short fluffy tails, and strong, large hind legs. They belong to the family of Leporidae and differ from hares in size, life history, and preferred habitat. Male rabbit are known as buck while female one is known as doe.

What name do you give to your pet?

My pet name is Chelsea

What does it eat, tell us about the lifestyle of your pet

Rabbit eat grass, Broccoli leaves, corn sprout blended together with crayfish, vegetables. The lifestyle of rabbit are very territorial and particular. They like their things arrange in a certain way, and they can become upset when their things are moved. Rabbit play in form of toss or push things around. Rabbit required your attention. My pet behavior is similar to a dog, the rabbit do welcome me when am back home and I like giving him a high five greeting. The rabbit understand a simple command when you say eat, drink, leave and so on. They are good in exercise.

Are they important to man, what significant role do they play in humans life? Tell us the importance of your pet to
you.

Yes, rabbit is important to man. Most elderly people eat rabbit because it contains a high nutritional value in it. It of low-fat, high-protein and is so enjoyable when taking as a food. The use rabbit in various biological researches in the hospitals and educational institutions. Rabbit is use in the manufacture of gloves, purses, caps. My pet makes me not to be bored when am in the house.

If they are dangerous to man tell us their dangerous part

Rabbits can transmit bacteria through bites and scratches.They love to chew, so the will be chewing the wrong things like shoes because their teeth are always growing. There is also a risk of becoming allergic to rabbit itself, as rabbit fur can trigger allergies over a period of time, especially if the rabbit lives indoors. So it is advisable to take precurtion to reduce the allergen exposure to yourself and your family because of the Bordatella, ringworm,mycobacteriosis external parasites infections that is associated with rabbit.

Do you encourage us to have it at home? If we should have how can we care for it the way you do?

Yes, you can have rabbit in your home.

• Provide a safe environment and protection from hazards, whether it lives inside or outside the house.

• Make sure you do exercise for the rabbit atleast 2hours

• Avoid giving the rabbit some certain fruit like Avocado and makes sure the rabbit drinking water is clear. Other precurtion are listed above.
