Greetings to the fams all over the world most especially the kids, they are the ones why this community was created initially, and to the kid lovers, keep the kids at bay not to go astray, I'm proud to be here and to participate in this contest.

Child of the world as we all know is not intentionally but the different circumstances we have faced in the world when we were still growing up has either built us or destroyed us. Most of us here are because of the home training and strong hands of God, we could be a beast in sheep clothing and one of them includes me.

Name the forms of child abuse known to you that are prevalent in your locality.

• Rape; This has been in an existence for a long time now. It was rapid in Lagos and my friend until today still lives with that stigma now because she was raped by her cousin then in Lagos and most of them still live with that trauma thankfully today, there is a penalty for any rape case most especially in Awka Ibom State.

• Hawking; This is bad though things are not perfectly well in the country sending a child to hawk on the street is dangerous and unhealthy to a child.

• Irrational Beating of the Child all in name of training; Train up a child in the way of the Lord that he grows up, he will not depart from it but not using hard object on this children. I almost ran away from my Aunt's house a few years ago but I accepted to stay because of the sounding education I was receiving at then. Children that stay with another family intend to suffer this crisis than those living with their parents.

• Neglection; We are all humans and every one of us has blood running through our veins children need all the attention in the world and by so doing, they can share their burdens with their parents but a situation whereby there is no concern, this children can easily be misled.

Who is at worst the most, the male or female child?

Well for me, both parties suffer the effect psychologically but the female foes come out worst.

What effect can they have on the kids?

Both parties as I have said earlier on suffering the outcome from the abusive and this effect makes them;

• Radicals; Through the effect most of these female folks experience as a child makes them come back for payback in terms of using the back door the hurt the society at large.

• Swift in decision Making; It is easy to forgive but very hard to forget, I have suffered a lot in life and am grateful for the punishments but I can't allow my children to leave with another party apart from holidays.

How can the kids avoid them?

In this aspect, the kids are helpless and exposed to any casualty but the parents have a vital role to play in the prevention.

• Teaching the children their rights; Every child born of a woman has a right though we understand that their right is enshrined in the constitution but is the right of the parents to make sure that these rights are protected.

• Right Behaviours towards the kids; It is the obligation of the parents to make sure that physical abuse doesn't only hurt but also words can hurt. So mindful of what you say to your wards.

• Casually discipline your child; Parents are assigned the responsibility to train up their kids but it should be done politely and not when they are upset or frustrated.

I hope this contest will go viral to make parents or guardians acknowledge the fact that kids are precious and they are to be protected and not abused, loved, tendered, and not exposed to the world at an early stage because of the world I know today is no longer safe.
