Kids or children are an important part of the life cycle. All of us who are older or elderly ones were once children and we had fun and contributed our own quota to people's experiences around us.

Who is a kid in steemkidss community?

Well now, having known what kids are like, who can we regards as steemkids in this community?
Earlier before now, in steemkidss community, children between the ages of 8 and 18 were accepted as steemkids in this community. However due to some updates from steemit team, the age range for the kids was now pegged between 13 and 18 years. These ones are seen tagged verified kids in the steemkidss communities. Such ones will have to pass through a verification process before they are finally tagged verified kids. It is only then can they make or write quality contents without the supervision of their parents or guardians.

The other ones below the age are still allowed to make post but it's only with an adult supervision, who may be their parents or guardians

What key roles do they play in steemit ecosystem?

Like I earlier said, kids contribute a lot to any ecosystem. The steemit ecosystem is not left out too. The presence of the kids have really brought much joy and activity to the ecosystem. We have seen them actively enjoying each other on the kids corner and relating with each one via that means. They have also successfully demonstrated their cooking skills, technological skills and show-casing other talents they have.

We also see parents and grandparents doing there best in teaching these young ones about things and ideas that will help them become better individuals. So the kids have brought increased activities in the steemit ecosystem, and have been improving on their knowledge since then.
We have also seen as increased activity in the steemit platform due to presence their too.

Are they relevant

From the foregoing and the points mentioned above, we can all see that kids are relevant in the community. They are very active and make interesting articles or publications. They now tag along with their parents as they learn from them and also earn in the process. Their presence have brought out the best of some parents on the platform since they now put in more effort to stay and create more time for their little ones. No wonder we have seen geometric growth of both verified kids and kids lovers in the community.

From your own personal experience, how have they contributed to the growth of steemkidss community.and steemit as a whole

The kids have contributed to the growth of steemkids by being actively involved in the platform and the community. Their consistent engagement in contests and other activities have led to the immense growth of the community. This also attracts the kid lovers or parents who also find joy publishing kids related content in this community.
Additionally, this community have brought together children from all over the world, thus becoming friends with each other, even outside the steemit platform.
Those kids already in steemkidss community also invites their friends who does not know about steemit yet, to come join the platform and community.

So from personal experience and observations, they have contributed a lot towards steemkids growth and steemit in general.
