Week #10 Begins: Draw A pair of Rabbit 🐇🐇 ||15 Steem Prize to be won

A wonderful day to you all. Trust you all are doing great. We are having a sunny day over here, I do not know what it is like at your own side. Whatever it is, enjoy the best of the day. I am participating in this week's drawing contest hosted by @eliany. We are asked to draw a pair of rabbit.

Drawing a pair of rabbit

To draw a rabbit, we just need few things. A pencil, an eraser, a cardboard paper and a pen.

Describe a rabbit

A rabbit is a small, gnawing animal with long ears, a short tail, long hind legs, large eyes and a continuously growing incisors.

They are herbivorous animals and have a very high reproductive rate. Rabbits are born blind, hairless and are usually helpless becoming easy prey for predators. They are.basically nocturnal animals and live alone in burrows.

What qualities does a rabbit have?

Rabbits are very special, social, intelligent and affectionate animal. They have this characteristics of being bratty, willful, can be destructive and very vengeful. They are also demanding in there needs and care.

Its teeth continuously grow but do not get out of shape because as they continue to chew grasses, and vegetables, they gradually wear out. They are also know for their athletic leap whenever they are happy, twisting and kicking in the air.

They also have eyes on the sides of their heads, this enables them to see almost at 360 degrees. This quality help protect them from predators. The same goes with their ears which can turn at a 180 degrees, listening out for predators.

Have you seen one before? If yes, where?

I have been opportuned to see one and raise a pair at my home. They are very lovely and a clean animal. They hate a dirty environment. Within a year, the pair had about 21 kittens. They are truly effective kitten makers.

Are they important to man?

Rabbits are very important in the Earth's ecosystem. They help to control the growth of certain weeds, thus providing an avenue for other beneficial plants, insects and birds to survive.

Rabbits are also known to improve a person physical and mental health serving as a great companion.

Rabbit meat can serve as food. Its meat is sweet and nutritious. The furs can be sheared and used for clothing too.

Rabbit farming is also a great source of income to many, it is not usually that capital intensive like other animal farming, but also have moderate incomes.

Conclusion

We have been able to see what a rabbit is, it's characteristics and how beneficial it is to humans. Whenever we see rabbit, may we remember it's great features and qualities.
