Greetings to all steemians and hope you all had a lovely day. This contest is very educative and thought provocative at the same time. In this Contest, I'll explain what child abuse is, I'll name the forms of child abuse known to me that are prevalent in my locality, I'll tell Who is at risk the most, the male or female child, and I'll discuss What effect they can they have on the kids, and how the kids can avoid them?

Definition of Child Abuse

Child abuse is the physical psychological or sexual Mark treatment on neglect of a child can happen at the hands of a parent a close relative or a caregiver and has a significant on the child's psyche. Child abuse is mostly rampant at the age of five and below and it normally of course mostly when the parents are not at home and when de children are been entrusted to the care giver or a guardian there is a tendency that child abuse and take place.

Types
There are several types of child abuse which include physical emotional sexual social abuse.

The most prevalent type of child abuse in my community is sexual abuse. Most times can be done by the parents to what the children it also can be done by The guardian relatives caretaker etc.

Causes

What are the causes of sexual abuse?

LACK OF PARENTING SKILLS

Most parents the ability and experience in parenting their children in a proper manner most times when parenting their children it comes with abuse so when their children also pick up that character or manner it stays with them most times forever and when they are wolder they tend to use such negative parenting skills on their children.6

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
This is sometimes the major cause of drug abuse in my community true investigations an enquiry from abused children in my community it has been emphasize that alcohol and drugs are a major cause

SIGNS TO KNOW WHEN A CHILD IS SEXUALLY ABUSED

Muslims and abused child cannot be noticed by the language but it can be ascertained by the marks on a child's body.
And also when the child find it difficult in sitting and in walking these are signs will need to look out for in detecting a sexually abused child.

EFFECT OF CHILD ABUSE IN A CHILD

Child abuse and neglect often have long-term scars on the child that are difficult to erase from the mind and the body too. It can have a massive impact on the way the child manage relationships during adulthood and can dent their self confidence and they find it difficult to function normally at school college or work when they grow up Child abuse can have the following effects on the child:

TRUST ISSUES
An abused child mostly sexually finds it difficult to trust anyone especially when the abuse is coming from his or her parents...I mean if its your parent who else can u trust?

UNABLE TO EXPRESS EMOTIONS
Student find it hard to express or vent their emotions and feelings..

HOW TO STOP CHILD ABUSE

The implementation of the following rules can stop child abuse

• Children often imitate adult in their life and if they have seen a parent inflict abuse they will feel that it is normal so therefore,Opt and counselling of children who have are vulnerable and exposed to child abuse situations2.. spreading knowledge about child abuse in the neighborhood or town.when people see they hard impact and realities they tend to spread the word around the neighborhood community or town3.. educating of children about the good touch and the bad touch

TIPS FOT HELPING AN ABUSED CHILD

• Believe what the child has told you and avoid repeating the matter to others except with reason

• On hearing about a child abuse situation make sure you report the matter with urgency

• Always ensure a child abuse child that you take care of them and they should never feel downcast or unworthy.

Child Abuse is a serious crime although many view it as a means of dialy survival [hawking] and not as a way of exposing the child to other abuse.
