Greetings to everyone in this community. I'm so much happy today went well for me but didn't really go well because of the situation at hand. I was in pains when I heard the news this evening. A mother, a friend, an inspirer, a role model in the steemit platform is now gone. I never knew life can be without remorse. I want to tenderly and affectionately express my concern and sympathy to those related to her and to her friends and loved ones. Death has it all for himself because he has no friends says one wise man. I sympathize with her husband @danieldedosd2, telling him that I'm deeply sorry for his wife's loss. Never had anyone thought of this so soon. Your wife has been a friend and role model in this platform and will always remain in our hearts. Just pull through with your lovely kids hoping to see her again in perfect health because the bible says so and that's what gave me strength when my grandma died. I'm so sorry for the loss. I attended the burial of my Christian sister's father and my cousins traditional marriage on Saturday and I want to share that diary game with everyone in this community. Those two events just rhyme with a scripture that says Weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice. I actually did those two things in one day of which I want to share with you guys. Before making the diary, I want to specially thank @steemkidss for creating such awareness and for showing their heartfelt concern and sympathy for their loss. Please accept our condolences...

Morning Activities

I woke up as usual and did my initials and spiritual activities. After praying, I carried out my house chores before assembling as a family that Saturday. After doing some chores, we assembled as a family to reason the scriptures together and the lesson I derived from this is worthwhile. 12Most truly I say to you, whoever exercises faith in me will also do the works that I do; and he will do works greater than these, because I am going my way to the Father. After examining the scriptures together, I prepared myself for the two events at hand since I couldn't make it to the burial of my coursemate mother. After preparation, I ate my breakfast and then left for the bus stop.

Me and my crew waited for the bus driver to come before leaving to Nsit Ubium, a local government in Akwa ibom, Nigeria. I tried creating contents on the bus since I couldn't stay idle but nature cheated me. I dozed off until we reach a point where the bus jerked. I woke up and started observing places not until we arrived the venue. We sympathized with the bereaved and consoled her. We also ate what she served us as our sympathizer. After spending hours with her, we departed and I found my way to my cousin's traditional marriage venue since it was some miles away from the burial ground.

Afternoon/Evening Activities

On arriving there, I was welcomed by my nephew. He was so happy to see me. I then went inside and greeted other relatives of mine and I was served jollof rice with coconut rice and sprinkles with palm wine and a soft drink.

I ate it to my satisfaction and was even tired of eating. The time came for the introduction of both parents and relatives since it was a traditional marriage and everything there was according to tradition.

My cousin's parents and we his relatives came in in and sat under a canopy. The girls parents and relatives later came and both parents exchange courtesy. The master of ceremony listed the order of events according and prepared our minds of what will come.

The man was the first to come out and as tradition demands, we his relatives are to bring and dance him in. I covered the dance and also danced as if it were my marriage due to the fact that I wore a big smile on my face. My cousin is dark and he married a sun.

🌞 The mc said that he doesn't need light in his house before he sees because he has chosen a sun that would shine luminously. This traditional marriage was held in a village in my local government area. After dancing in the groom, the mc told a lady to carry certain items and fetch the bride. The bride's relative went to bring her out. While waiting for the bride, the Dj gave us a hit and the groom's men displayed their dancing talent. This video summarize it all.

They did all the traditional rites and then danced danced, and danced. Me and my family members left since they themselves attended only the traditional marriage. We headed home and all of a sudden I fell sick. I was given medications when I got home and that's how my Saturday went. I did other important activities before retiring to bed.
