Good day everyone. It's another joyous day for each and everyone of us to be alive in the land of the living all thanks to the Maker and Giver of life.
It is a good opportunity for me to participate in the steem kids contest with the topic that says...
"WHAT KEY ROLES DOES THE KIDS PLAY IN STEEMIT BLOCKCHAIN? ARE THEY RELEVANT?\40 STEEM PRICE"

INTRODUCTION

Our parents were once kids, now they are adults, as youths, we were once kids and now we are youths and so the cycle continues. As these kids are, they cannot be kids forever as once there is life, definitely growth and development must take place. And so the cycle will continue.
What happens in the period of childhood is very important, as if the required knowledge is not transferred to them, it will be very disastrous.

Who is a kid in steemkidss community

Earlier on, a steemkid is anyone who is at the ages of 8 to 18 years. But due to some countries standard, a steemkid has been adjusted to be any kid who is under the ages of 13 to 19 years, who is the dependent on his\her parents or caregivers for their welfare in terms of food, cash, clothing, shelter etc, who has a verified and functional Steemit account and is under steemkidss community, who is in participation of the activities that are ongoing, though there are some parents who are kids at heart , who help to handle their children's account and at the long run can continue to handling the account for his benefits.

What key roles do they play in steemit ecosystem?

The Holy Book(Bible) says train up a child in the way he should grow, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
This implies that it is what a child is fed with, both food-wise and knowledge-wise that the child will grow and sustain.
The child's brain is a tabula rasa; which implies that their brain is an empty slate at birth. It is what the care givers instill into the child that will remain, through the agents of socialization(family, school, peer group, religion, mass media, etc.). Among the agents of socialization that have been listed above; steemkidss as part of Mass media, enhances inculcation of employable skills into the kids, through Writing, Posting and Earning (WPE)

The world that we find ourselves in has become and is still becoming more global and technologically advanced in knowledge.
Before now, people cannot work from home and get paid. But through advancement in technology, alot of people earn a huge chunk of money working from the comfort of their home, of which steemalive is not an exception.
Actually, what one will introduce to his\her loved one is that which has been of a good benefit. Training a child with the mindset of making money online and with their love for technology more especially the use of phones can make them in the nearest future be interested in steemkidsa. Some of them can grow to the level of becoming future online investors and developers.

Are they relevant here?

Psalms 127:5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

So in this context, our children are our quivers that God has given unto us, to contend\combat against immorality, corruption, poverty, unemployment, unproductivity, etc which has eaten upon the fabric\lives of our youths\adults who were once kids but missed it along the line due to improper socialization of parental platform, peer groups platform, religious platform, social media platforms (which steemkidss) is part and parcel of. Because as a result when they are well drilled will get busy with there lives, and have little or no time for frivolities, and other misleading things. They will also be in a better position to inculcate the knowledge they have into others who so desire. It will equally help them and others to improve in the writing and reading skills. Unlike nowadays people are finding it difficult to read a page of a book. But there case will be different, I take they will like to inform and get informed through such exposure.
There writing skills will equally be Improved as their vocabulary will not be shabby. Also, at the long run, they can equally diversify into other aspects of steemit, ranging from crypto academy,crypto currency, etc.

From your own experience, how have they contributed to the growth of both Steemkids community and steemit as a whole?

As we all know, knowledge can be learned through experiences and observation it could be the experiences of others or ours and through observation of others. Our experiencial knowledge has helped group us all these while. And for the kids, they learn more through Observation ith my experience with kids as a School teacher and equally a Children Teacher and if they get to observe there caregivers STEEM, they will grow to love steeming. Also contexts have been organised in steemkidss which children where in participation. This implies that they will perform credibly if the platform is given them.

CONCLUSION

A huge appreciation to steemkidss for this opportunity given to us to write about the would be potentials embedded in our kids.
