Greetings fellow steemians! How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. This week, I want to participate by drawing a female doctor. I have also taken my time to educate kids in this community on the subject matter which I believe every member of the community will find it interesting. Thank you @mesola for sustaining this contest and thank you all for your time.

Medical doctor is someone who reads medicine and serve as a medical practitioner. He or she diagnoses, advice, treats and administers drugs to individual who have health challenges. A medical doctor could be a man or woman.
To become a medical doctor, a child is expected to be dedicated to his studies and must read sciences. Some of the compulsory science subjects to study include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and health science.
It is also important for the child to know that he or she will spend seven years in the university, one year for housemanship and then one year for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) before becoming a registered doctor.
Kids in this platform should know that aside a medical doctor there are other midical practitioners like nurses, lap scientists, nutritionists, environmental health workers etc which we sometimes call them doctor or nurse.

NOW MY DRAWING
Materials used for the drawing

• Plain white A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Colours

Step 1
I began the drawing of my female doctor from her head. I drew the outline of her hair, her face, and her ear.

Step 2
At this step, I drew her eyes and colored her eyelid black using pencil. I also drew her nose and mouth. The next thing I did here was to shade the hair on her head which is neatly arrange as a medical doctor. I drew her eyebrows and finally drew the sunglasses she puts on.

Step 3
I drew the long lapcoat or apron which is white. I drew the two big pockets, and her two hand which are in the pockets. I also drew the collar of the inner shirt.

Step 4
Here, I drew horizontal lines to demarket the length of her inner shirt and skirts, I also drew the collar of her lapcoat and a stethoscope hung around her neck.

Step 5
The doctor's legs are drawn at this level and I also drew the shoes she puts on.

Step 6
I coloured the shirt and skirt she put on. The skirt is coloured blue and the shirt is coloured pink.

Step 7
I coloured the body of the lady to be orange. Her mouth is coloured red. I coloured the stethoscope black and finally, her shoes have white colour, pink colour and black soul.
