Hello my Steemit family how are you today? I am glad to connect with you in the Steem Kit and Parent community on the Contest - Your Family Favorite Moment, Which Memories Your Family Gathering? organized by @uzma4882. Thank you all for this opportunity and here is my participation.

Family is a group of people related by blood. Every human being belongs to a family. For me, family is the best place to be. I love every moment I spend with my family whether in lack or abundance. When it comes to the issue of family, I feel very happy and respected, I feel loved, I feel protected and I have a sense of belonging.

There are several special moments we had as a family, but this moment I am sharing today is my favourite because it is fun, educative and has a connection with my past and the future of my children.

My family and I had a beautiful moment at the Nasarawa State College Of Education Akwanga. An institution where me and my wife attended.

We had a special moment at the Fine and Applied Arts department of the institution where we went around to see the statue made by students. We took photos using our phones and I also took some time to explain to them how the statues were made.

We also visited other departments like the Vocational and Technical Department, Department of Secondary School Education etc. We visited the school clinic, convocation square, cafeteria, library etc. The last place we entered was the Centre for Undergraduate Studies.

While at the Centre for Undergraduate Studies, we had a discussion where I told my children that me and their mother study in this very institution and that is why we are teachers today. Now they should tell me what they want to be in future. The lady said "Medical doctor" and the "boy said doctor and police".

Now I encourage them to read their books very well so that when they finish primary school, they will go to secondary school and then university. After the discussion, my wife also encourages the children. After that, we ate the little food we brought and left.

This outing is my favourite because it afforded me time to educate my children and show them where I was shaped to become what I am today.
