Hey guys, today I want to share with you about a very wonderful, very beautiful place in Sri Lanka. To tell you the truth, it is a very beautiful place. If you have been there once, you will definitely go there again. 🙃

Today I am going to share information with you about Wennappuwa, Wellamankara Fishing Port. This port is newly built. If you are also willing to visit this port, this place is located in Wennappuwa town.

I also visited this port for the first time. It is really beautiful here. The Vellamankara fishing port located in Vennappuwa is the biggest fishing port that has been built in Sri Lanka.

The Ministry of Fisheries has presented information that approximately 250 million Sri Lankan Rupees have been spent on this port construction project, which is a very large project among the projects carried out in the fisheries sector in Sri Lanka.

Before the construction of this port, the largest fishing port in the country was the fishing port at Dikowita. But after the construction of this port, the Vellamankara fishing port at Wennappuwa is the largest fishing port in Sri Lanka.

According to the Ministry of Fisheries, only 800 large fishing boats and multi-day fishing vessels can anchor at the same time.

In fact, after the construction of this port, job opportunities were created for a large number of unemployed people. We can see that it has contributed strongly to the economic growth. In addition to this, along with the construction of this port, a large shopping complex has been built, a strong infrastructure system has been created, and port management You can see the presence of staff and coast guard, hostel facilities for tourists.

I think this place is a very good capital investment, because the construction of this port has a good opportunity to have a great impact on the economic growth of our country.

In addition to this, a bridge has been built that allows you to travel from the land to the sea through the middle of the sea. It is really beautiful. So, it must be said that when you walk a short distance on this bridge, it is very windy. So it's best to bring windproof clothes.
