Dairy game for Saturday 11 may 2024. Attending a traditional marriage of my friend

Hello everyone, saturdays are always great , i had a traditional marriage to attend,one of my friends was getting married.so i woke up with so much excitements so that i can met up with all my daily activities, so i quickly joined in for my online early morning prayers which lasted for about an hour with different prayer points .After that i got dressed because i needed to be in the field for my exercise routine,so i dressed up and headed out ,

Saturdays are always fun because of the large crowds ,and i'll get to see my friends that work don't permit them to come on normal days.when i got to the field we started out by jogging round the field , i met with my team members and we started out together, we jogged round the field for about seven times ,it was a great one ,it was very exhausting but i made sure i completed the programme and the task given me , after completing that we moved into aerobics , it was fun , really fun , i enjoyed every beat of it , we had few parents bring in their children and they were not left out.

When we were done taking pictures i went in for another drill, there's a new personal machine which my coach bought for herself and she brought it along so i decided to try it out, it is called the abdominal wheel, i had to check it out with the help of my coach rolling back and forth for about 5-6 times before i called it out. The machine was fit .

It was a fun filled events ,i had to come back home immediately because i had other activities to take care of, so i quickly came back home because the kids an an assignment in church . they were visiting the orphanage home located in the city of uyo , so they got some items to visit the orphanage as a group.i came back home with them because they followed me to the field, i prepared breakfast for them , they had their bath , cleaned up and get dressed ready to leave, we step out to get a vehicle thet will take us to church , luckily we got one so we started our journey , i had already packed their lunch boxes with rice and chicken stew because they will spend a long time in church, when we reached the church i had to wait for them till after their classes because i wanted to join them for the visit.

I had a traditional marriage to attend so i packed my bags for change up,i didn't want to be too early for the marriage so i had to wait a little in church.

AFTERNOON HOURS

I waited for them to have their lectures ,it wasn't long they were done with their classes, they started getting ready with they items they need for the distribution to the children.
So we got some toiletries which includes soap . washing and bathing soap,
Detergent,
Bleach
Air Freshers
Tissue papper
We got food items like provisions which includes
Milo and milk
Golden morn
Corn flakes
Noodles ,we got dry rice and beans , oil maggi
Salt and pepper , yams etc.
We also prepared jollof rice and children with drinks and water that we will serve them after the visit, we also got clothing, sh oes and schoolbags ,bedsheets,blankets and toys etc.
After getting all the stuff ready , we proceeded to the orphanage home ,when we got there, we were welcomed by a kind smile and happiness from the children, the joy was overwhelming.

The were filled with so much joy as they filed out to greet us and welcome us one after the other, i couldn't hold back my tears because this has always been my heartbeat, i also wish to bbe able to help people and put a smile on their faces irrespective of any circumstances most especially the needy children in our society.i love to be a great help to them, so when i saw them coming out , i was so happy and fulfilled because have been able to achieve that dream and most especially being able to spend some time with those children, so sat down with them,with their guidance who also received us with great joy.
We Already gave them pre notice that we were coming so we didn't take them unawares , we informed them properly that we were visiting today so they were ready for us, nothing much such to make the children happy and fill some sense of belonging, we prayed for them , spend some time to share the word of God with them using our kiddies daily devotional.

One important aspect about these kids was that they were ready to receive , they were very attentive,participating in the prayer sessions and worship They joined in singing the songs and when it was time to share the word , they sat quietly and listen and they responded where necessary, it was quite an intriguing moments staying there with them ,after that we gave them our cooked rice that we brought for them , we shared it amongst them and made sure it went round to satisfy all of them .
We reached out to the children from age 0- 10 years.it was indeed a very rewarding outing, after that we presented our gifts items we brought for them. Their guidance were so happy and they rendered some prayers to the children in the ministry .

After that the bus was ready waiting outside to take us back to church because i needed to follow them back to church so that i can change my outfits, i took them along with me because i cant start heading back home, so i quickly joined the bus back to church with the children , getting to church i went into church office to change my clothes for the traditional marriage, i got dressed , i needed to be at the event as soon as possible ,so i got dressed , went to a nearby saloon close to the church to do some make over so that i can appear very beautiful which i did.

Arriving the venue not quite far from the church to be precise , it was an open air event in a primary school at oron road , i step into the crowd , they were so many people , so i started looking for my friends, trying to locate where they were sited , i was able to locate them, i went to seat with them in our canopy, watch the dance from the cultural group , it was very interesting , it was very sunny so i put on my sun glasses,i was happy i came with it , watching and listening to the music , it waa time for the groom to come out which he did with some dance steps,and then here comes the bride.

She came out smiling with joy and dancing because indeed it was her day, the crowd was heavy as she came out to greet her guests with her entourage, it was a blissful ceremony as we all eat , drank and rejoice with her on her very special day.it was in deed a great event.

EVENING HOURS

The weather changed, so everything was done in a haste so that people can depart to their various homes because a mighty rain was hanging up the sky, i had to plea to take my leave because i needed to needed to cook against sunday , i had to rush to pick up my kids from church and start heading home ,i p rayed heavily in my heart for the rain not to fall because it will be bad, As i journey home ,with the bad weather ,i reached the house ,dropped the kids and head out to the market to purchase some items i need to prepare afang soup.

Me and the kids love afang soup so much so it must be available every weakened,i got my ingredients , hurry back home, fortunately as i got home it started raining, i thank God i had fuel in my generator so i on it and started cooking, i washed my meat , dried fish and stock fish and put it on fire adding blended pepper , garlic and ginger to cook it, i started washing my waterleaf so i can slice , i washed it thrice and it was clean and i cut them into the put, when the meat was ready i poured in other ingredients until my soup was ready. It was so delicious we eat it with cassava swallow.
