The Diary Game for 7/12/2024 || Tutorial and Sad Evening

Hello, Steemians from all over the world. Greetings to you all. I trust you all feel blessed and super fantastic. Today is Saturday and I would like to share with you all about my day. Please read on.

MORNING

This morning I woke up in church around 6 am to go home. We had a choir vigil last night in preparation for our combined service tomorrow. So in the company of my other church members we left the church premises and headed towards the road to board a vehicle to go home. On getting to the road, we waited for sometime because we didn't see a vehicle that was going our way. After flagging down several vehicles, we were finally able to get one which took us to the school gate. We alighted at the school gate and trekked inside. On getting to my school hostel, I didn't waste time changing into comfortable clothes and slept off.
I slept till past 9 am and woke up. I had a lecture to attend by 10 am. So I got up and started my day. The first thing I did was to pray, after which I brushed my teeth, took my bath and got dressed. I didn't have any cooked food available so I decided to buy Okpa and soy beans milk to drink.

Then I went to the class, I got there with my friend to find out that the place was already filled. So I had to stand and join the class going on. It was a practical demonstration class. And it was organized by our senior colleague in our department to guide us.

AFTERNOON
The tutor for the tutorial went on to explain the different processes. When he was done, we were then directed to attempt the practicals one after the other. The practical consisted of checking of Vital signs, Wound dressing and drug administration.

In class

We took turns to carry out the practical till it was my turn. When I was done with mine, I went home.

On my way home, I stopped by to buy food items such as bitter leaf, okra and meat.
I got home and started the preparation of the soup. Soon I was done. I noticed it was already evening and time for our workers meeting.

EVENING
So I quickly ate my food, and the moment I was done I got dressed and left.

The actual time the meeting starts is by 4 pm, but then I was already one hour late because I got there by 5 PM. The meeting had started and our pastor was already preaching. So I joined and listened to the message. It lasted for an hour after which we were dismissed and we went home. While returning to the hostel, I walked in the company of my church members. We had a good chat for some time before I entered the hostel to rest.
I got to the hostel, warmed my food and ate.
But then, an issue arose as one of my roommates went to report to the hostel authorities that my friend who I was staying with was using a hot plate which is prohibited in the hostel.
The hostel official came and seized the hot plate from us. There was a little quarrel as she claimed we were disturbing her. The issue is not resolved yet. As it is, my friend may face being rusticated from the hostel because she is squatting me and also using a hot plate. I'm squatting with my friend because I didn't have money to get an accommodation.But nevertheless, I'm hopeful that the situation won't escalate. And my friend won't be in trouble. I pray God intervenes for us in this case.

So this incident spoiled my night, it didn't end well like the beginning of the day.
