Welcome to my post. My name is Ali Hassan today I'm going to post once again in Steem Kids & Parents. Today I'm going to part in the contest which is also a part of Steemit Engagement challenge Season 6 and week 5. Today the theme of contest is Should Gift Giving Only Be For A Season in a year?. December is about to end an Winter ❄️ is at it's peak, and I hope all of you will enjoying this winter season with good health. Today I'm super excited to submit my entry because the topic is amazing and I want to say Thanks to Steem kids & Parents for choosing and organizing such an interesting contest.
Gift Giving is a term used when one person give some material thing to other person. The person who receives the gift is known as "gift receiver" and who give the gift know as "giver". In this process minimum two individuals are involved, one is giver and second is taker or receiver. In gift giving more than two individuals can be, group of people can exchange gifts and one person can give gifts to all persons and All persons can gift to single one like in birthday party.
In gift giving there is one thing behind this and that one is spreading happiness and to come close to each other. Gift Giving is good practice and our Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW also advise to took gifts with you when you visit someone.
Gifts always bring happiness, Love and respect for each other. In gift giving the past confusions and misunderstanding are minimized and love and happiness is spread. To express your happiness for someone you can give him a gift to show him I'm happy for you.
Gift Giving is not limited by time, season or year. We can give gifts to our family, friends and love one at the occasion of happiness and can make them to feel good about you by presenting them with gift.
We can bring gifts whenever we visit our live ones. There is no restrictions about gift giving and there is no specific seasonal time for gifit giving, we can give gifts to our love ones at any time. Even we can give gifts for thier success in thier life and when they achieve something.
We can give gifts to someone even when he is in need, instead of saying I'm helping you we can say it's a gift for you. This thing will not hurt his respect and you will help him by giving him Gift. In simple we can give gifts at any time and at any place without any restrictions of time, place, season and year.
There are many days which are best for exchanging gifts and we should give gifts to our love ones so we can enjoy that moment and make it special for our live ones. When the gifts are exchanged than a message of love and respect is shared to both parties and that moment become special for both. So, here are some best and suitable moments at which we can exchange gifts.
At Birthday:
Birthday is a best occasion to give gifts. Because it is a day of celebration and the person whose birthday is being celebrated invites his friends and family members. So, I think all the invites should bring a gift with them and present to the birthday boy/girl. It will really spread happiness and love.
At Eids:
For Muslims Eid is also a best day to exchange gifts, when we visit our relatives at Eid we should bring somw gifts with us and present to children and Young persons in the family. It will create happiness and will help to come close to each other.
At Special Events:
There are some special days in your life and someone's life like marriage ceremony and engagement and many other events at which you can exchange gifts. It is good practice to present a gift to the groom.
Celebration Days:
There are some days for celebration like when you achieve some thing good you can exchange gifts at that time. In short when you feel happy and in some spacial moments you can make them more special by exchanging gifts.
There are many times that can be exchanged as gifts but there is no restrictions in gift giving. There are some rules of gifts if your item follows the rules than it can be given as gift.
First of all try to give a gifts according to the receivers need. It is better to know about the desire and need of the receiver. But if you want to make it a surprise you can know his Desire and need by spending some time with him and after questioning about his desires and needs.
The gift should be some material thing and unique. Gift should be like this which could be used by the receiver and he remembers you all the time whenever he see or use it.
I think watch, perfumes, digital gadgets, books, clothes and many other things which matches the receivers personality. Make sure that should should be unique no matter it is expensive or not but it should be unique.
It is better to gift things according to the taste of the receiver. If your receiver is fond of reading books you can present him a gift of book and related to reading stuff.
This is very important topic and I want to eleborate it according to my thinking and understanding. I think the main and basic motive of gift giving should be spreading love and happiness. Your motive should be postive and there should not be your own benefits behind your gift giving. If you are giving gifts to someone for showment and you want popularity among people then it is useless.
There is also a tradition that on some occasion you must have to give gifts. But i think we should give gifts for our own pleasure and happiness not just for maintaining the tradition of old people.
If qe guve gifts with pure hurt than Allah will put Barkat in it and our relationship will go longer and longer and there will be peace and love all around us.
As there is not limitations for the time and occasions to give gifts same there is no limitations to give gifts to the receivers. I think the person we love the most are persons who are most qualified for receiving our gifts. Because thier happiness means a lot to us.
Parents can give gifts to thier children, Children can give to thier parents, students can give to thier children, Fans can gift to thier stars and Influencer and A lover can give to his/her love one. A friend can give gift to his friend.
To everyone you want to see happy you can give gift because gifts ate given for spreading love, happiness and joy. A Boss can give gift to thier staff and even to swiper to see him happy.

I think the main purpose of gifts giving is the feelings and the expression. When someone give gift to his love one. The receiver when received the gift, a happiness and pleasure came on the face of receiver and the giver can feel it.
Receiver of the gift knows about affection and feeling of the giver and the respect of the giver in eye of receiver increase and a happy and healthy relationship can be started through giving gifts.
When someone receive a gift he also love to the feelings of the sender and he pray for him from heart. Sometimes gifts help to resolve the confusions and misunderstandings.

Another impressive post from you friend. I have learnt from your post that giving should be a part of us, especially in times when we are making a visit to someone.
I also learned that gift giving should be for our own pleasure and happiness, rather than a traditional practice.
