Childhood days are so memoriable and exciting, we did alot of things during our childhood. Sometime when i remember some of the things i did during my childhood, it puts a smile on my face. So i appreciate @steemkidss for the privillage given to us to share our worst childhood chores. Please stay tune as i share with you my worst childhood chores.

I am the last born in my family and the only one who still lives with my parents. The rest are married, during my childhood i do alot of chores but above them all my worst chores are

• Washing the dishes
• Fetching water
• Sweeping the compound

This chores changes my mood when ever i am asked to go and do them. Sometimes i used to feel it is a punishment my parents are passing to me and i either end up crying before doing them or i will be forced to do them. As a child then all think of is sleep, wakeup and eat. I feel as the last born i dont have any chores to do at home and so i see doing those chores as a punishment to me.

Why are they your worst chores

I will simply say they are my worst chores because they make me feel uncomfortable doing them. Especially washing the dishes; and i do that two times a day. Sometimes i wash alot of dishes due to mush visitors we use to have in our house. As for sweeping the compound, it weakens me eachtime i do that. My compound is very big so before i finish sweeping the whole compound, i will be sweating like someone who has been running for hours.

My parents normally send me to do those chores. Like i said i was the only child living with them during my childhood, my elder ones are all married so is just me and them.

As at now, they are no longer my worst chores. I grew up learning to do them especially now that am in an higher instittution. I live alone and where i live, i do the dishes myself, fetch water myself, and even sweep my environment myself although the environment is not as big as my compound. I dont even see it as stress sweeping my compound when ever i go back home. Sometimes we even do cleanups in our compound in school and i join them in doing the cleanup and i dont see it as a stress the way i used to when i was a child.

Will you encourage your kids to hate those chores

NO i will not and will never encourage my kids to hate those chores. I learnt how important it was for me to get used to it so i believe it will also be of help to my kids.
