Weekly Contest 03 || The Diary Game || How I spent my day|| Sunday well spent

How are you all doing.

Good evening from Nigeria.

I'm super excited to be here and be sharing how my day went for a while now.

Let's get right into the main agenda of this content.

IN THE MORNING

Because it's Sunday, I woke up by 5:20 am and started prepping for service. The service was scheduled to hold by 7am. So after every every, we got to church by 6:57 am. The service was over by 9:20 am. It was really a long one. After service, we exchanged some pleasantries with our village people 😁

After which we headed to the market. It is our custom to branch at the market and get something to eat before we start cooking on days when we didn't prepare Sunday meal in advance. This day happens to be one of those days. Because of the instability in electricity, we don't take such risk again. So today we bought Bread and Akara to eat while going into cooking.

AT NOON

So, I was tired of making the regular Sunday stew and decided to opt for something different by going for a different recipe I saw on Instagram. Slightly different but more economical. So I went for it and few hours, my food was done.

After eating, I cleared the kitchen and then, used the remaining time to start my course on Coursera. I've applied for this financial aid for a data analytics Google course on Coursera which was approved few days back and I just have to start it.

IN THE EVENING

Because I have a friend who make the best shawarma in the area or so I thought, and she's been asking I patronise her, I thought that Sunday was the best day to do do.

I've called her a day before to inform her that I will be needing a bite on the fateful day. And I've also given her time. So, she called me by 6pm that it was ready, I opted for home delivery because I didn't see myself stepping out. Beside, the delivery didn't cost much so why not.

In less than 15 mins, one of her girls had it delivered to me and I must say it was really yummy.

IN CONCLUSION

It wasn't a Sunday filled with so much fun, but at least I ensured I checked and rounded off my weekly to do list that day and to me, nothing is more fulfilling than having a productive week.
