Capturing Moments Wk 6: Application 3 - Plants Photography

Good day great steemians, I am much happy to participate in this photography contest made by my mentor @bossj23. I truly love photography alot and have really taken high steps to reach that very goal, I started photography early 2022 with my smartphone. The journey was really tough because I didn't have much clips to help me or guide me through the process.
All thanks to my younger brother who helped me out with some ideas to make a start, I got the best mobile editing tools also set up my phone camera of about 50mp which is good in clarity maintenance.

I started with nature photography which includes plant too, to say I have 50% knowledge about plant photography and how to take on the grading aspect of it. Just like the word nature when making a plant photograph the important aspect to consider is keeping it natural.
Let's take a look at what I mean keeping it natural, the contest topic is focusing mainly on a macro shot of the plant and also a wide angle of that same plant.

I have 3 pictures which include the raw picture I took, the macro edited shot and the wide edited angle shot

The first picture here is the raw picture I took with my RedmiNote13 smartphone while using X1. The X1 helps to capture a wide angle of an object or subject while keeping the quality intact too without much grains.

The ixora plant is one the most common flower here in my town. Almost every compound grows this plant, the plant is very beautiful and serves as one of the most used ornamental plants in my state. I made a crack on the picture of which I will make it known here.

Before snapping this particular plant, I sprinkled water over it to help me bring up the texture while editing and also add more beauty to the picture.
So after sprinkling the water on the plant I took a macro shot using X2 and also X1 for wide angle.

The wide angle using X1
This wide angle is mostly used in cinematic movies or when explaining more about the plants environment. It's also beautiful though but I prefer the macro view of which I will tell you why.

The macro angle using X2

Here you can choose to use X3, X4 or more as long as your smartphone can give a clearer version of the object or subject. I prefer the X2 because it brings up a picture in a better view and also keeps the quality intact. The macro view gives a picture a better option of being used as portraits, wallpapers and screen savers. That's why I prefer it.

I create alot of wallpapers for my friends through nature photography and my wish is to find a site where I can sell most of them because I have alot in my gallery.
To retouch pictures you can use lightroom mobile application or Snapseed to make add more beauty to a picture.

Thanks for going through my post..I hope you have gotten alot about plant photography and the differences while using both angles.

Device used.. RedmiNote13
