A Memorable Day in my Life Last Month - September 2024

On the 1st of September I went on a trip with my family to ibom icon formerly known as Le-meridian hotel and suites. Ibom icon is one of the biggest and most expensive hotels in Akwa Ibom. It is a sight to behold. When my family and I arrived there, we were given a warm welcome by the receptionist as our luggage were being collected by the orderlies. After making all the necessary payments,we were taken to our room.

The room was very beautiful, large and comfortable. I was so excited being there. I walked around the room checking all the facilities which were topnotch and serene. I took pictures of the lovely sight. After check-in, I left the hotel room to see the hotel environment. I went to the museum first. All the artifacts, paintings, drawings, artworks were so unique and outstanding.

I admired them a lot. After the museum, I went to the golf area.it was well equipped and very nice.
I watched some people playing golf there for a well, then proceeded to the swimming pool. The pool was so beautiful that I immediately wanted to jump into it but I wasn't with my swim trunks. I just watched people swimming in different strokes like the butterfly stroke, the back stroke with so much ease it was very beautiful and the environment was peaceful.

I proceeded to the gym afterwards. There was no one there but it was very much equipped with the gym facilities and soft music could be heard in the background. I did some videos and took pictures of some equipment there. I still wanted to tour around the place but it was already time for dinner so my family and I went to the dining hall.

The meals were buffet service. It was a variety of different foods, fruits, vegetables etc. The foods looked very delicious that i began to salivate.
I served myself with Chinese rice and Chicken with fruit juice.it was so yummy. I ate till I was satisfied. After dinner, I retired to my room, had a hot bath in the Jacuzzi and slept comfortably.

The next morning,after my breakfast and shower,I decided to complete my tour around the place. I went to one of the seminar halls first. It was very big, serene, comfortable and the lighting was very beautiful. I later went to the bar, there were lots of drinks there and people were partying. I bought a soft drink and stayed there for a while.

My mum called and told me we were going to check out soon,I was a bit sad I wasn't able to complete my tour around the place but she assured me of a next time. I went back to my room, packed my things and proceeded to check out of the hotel. On my way back, I recounted my experience there and looked forward to having a great time there again.
