🚮Proper disposal of refuse

Proper disposal of waste simply refers to the disposal of waste material safely and appropriately in a way and manner that will not cause harm or nuisance to humans and the environment.

Proper disposal of waste is the steps needed for the disposal of refuse or waste products which involves all tools, equipment, treatment, building, structure, materials, etc needed to take refuse from the refuse collector to the appropriate place of discard in a way and manner that will not cause harm to humans and the environment.

There are several healthy methods of refuse disposal. Examples are incineration, sanitary landfill, composting, recycling, disposal at sea, etc

The method I normally use to dispose of my refuse is disposing at the pit, I would have preferred to use the incineration method but for now, I don't have an incinerator to dispose of the refuse and I decided to use the available method.

✅What did you do?

What I did is proper disposal of refuse, it is proper and also hygienic for us to always dispose of our generated refuse in a way and manner that will not constitute a nuisance to the environment and also not cause harm to humans.

Disposal of refuse appropriately helps keep our environment more healthy, and clean and also reduces the risk of spreading disease to humans.

✅ How did you do it?

How I did it is that I used a broom to sweep all the refugees around my house I started by gathering all the refuse in my room then after my room, I went to the sitting room and moved outside the house and gathered all the refuse that was expected of me to discard.

I had a rubber that was well kept where I normally used a broom and packer to pour the refuse inside it, after gathering it, when I finished packing the dirt into the rubber, I normally used to take it to a pit where I normally dump it.

The essence of dumping it inside the pit is that there is a pit in my father's land that is close to my house and we want the pit to be filled up because we don't want a pit in the particular position so I normally dump my refuse Ihere.

✅ Where did you do it

Where I did it was my house because it is appropriate for me to always dispose of my refuse regularly and daily to keep the environment clean and healthy and to reduce the spread of diseases around the environment.

Keeping a clean environment is very important in our life for it maintains relationships between you and people around the community because nobody wants to eat or drink water or even associate with a dirty person, that is to say, keeping the environment clean attracts good luck and also maintains our relationship with God because God also loves clean people that is why this adage came in "cleanliness is next to godliness"

Most importantly, it saves us from contracting some contagious diseases and you all know that health is wealth.

✅ What motivated you?

What motivated me to dispose of my refuse is that I want to keep a clean and healthy environment and I also want my home to be that type of home where people will feel free to come, eat, drink, and stay comfortable without feeling irritated.

Most of the diseases in our community today example malaria, cholera, and the rest of the diseases as a result of not keeping the environment clean.
A dirty environment attracts flies, mosquitoes and even rodents and environments are favorable conditions for the the growth of the above insects and rodents.

For us to reduce the risk of disease, it is important and healthy to always dispose of the refuse appropriately in a way that will not constitute a nuisance to the environment and in a way that will not cause harm to humans.
