INTRODUCTION

Hello my lovely friends and kids of this wonderful community, how do you do, hope you're all doing fine and enjoying your day.
I'm happy to be part of this interesting contest in @steemkidss community which was Organized by our very own hardworking working friend in person of @goodybest, and the theme of the contest is A Story about Myself.
In this post i will be discussing about myself by following the contest tips.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF

My name is Edidiong Emmanuel Effiong from Utuan local government area, though i was born and brought up in Etinan L.G.A, I'm 23 years old.
I'm a student studying Building Technology in the University of Uyo, we are four boys and i am the first born to my parent, i lost my mother when i was in SS1 and since then i became a mother and a brother to my siblings, that's why there is no food in this out state Akwa Ibom that i can't cook.

It wasn't easy for me at all, i always cry everyday and everytime i remember my mother, but i had no choice than to be strong for my brothers, we were living inside a school compound by then because my father was a teacher there, and when it's 12:30pm during school hours i will go to the house, change my clothes, then go to the market to buy some food stuff so that i can prepare something for my brothers and father to come back and eat.

It wasn't easy at all when i was a kid, i suffered a lot , but i thank God all those are now in the past.

WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS THAT BRING YOU DOWN SOMETIMES, BUT HOW DO YOU NORMALLY PICK YOURSELF UP?

One of the things that brings me down sometimes is financial issues, there was a time when my father was retired there didn't pay him his pension, and i didn't have money to pay my school fees, i lose hope and i went back home, I didn't have any choice than to drop out from school because i didn't have anyone to run to for help.

The next day my phone rang and it was my friend in school, he told me to come back to school that all my colleagues have contributed money and paid my fees, i was very happy and i went back to school.
I didn't even know what to do or where to run to for help but God provided a solution to my problem.

WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING AND WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU HAVE FOR US?

Honestly, the only thing that has been keeping me going all this time is God, i believe and i put all my faith in him, because he created me and i know he has good plans for me, so i believe one day all this suffering and hardtimes will come to an end.

My message to people out there is that no matter what so ever life throws at you, you should never give up and one day all those hardtimes will be in the past.
