Greetings to everyone, how are you today? I hope you are all doing fine.
You're right welcome to weekly drawing contest week #21 in @steemkidss community which was organized by @eliany, and the theme is Draw a Cricket.

I'm very happy to be a part of this interesting contest in steemkids community, and today i will be sharing with you the steps i used in drawing a Cricket.

• Pencils
• A4-paper
• Pen

Step 1

• First i sketch out a cricket on my Drawing paper

Step 2

• Then after that i shade and draw out the head, thorax and the front legs of the cricket.

Step 3

• Then after i shade and draw out the abdomen and knife like thing at the end of the abdomen

Step 4

• Then i shade and draw out all the remaining four legs

Step 5

• Then i draw the antenna and detail the cricket

DESCRIBE A CRICKET

A cricket is an insect that somewhat relate to grasshopper, and they are bulky in shape and also has a sharp long thing at the end of their abdomen.
They are very noicy insects that makes chirping noice especially the males at night to attract the females.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THE LIFE STYLE OF A CRICKET?

According to my research about crickets, i realized that is only the male cricket that makes the chirping sounds to attract the females when they are ready for meting.

The thing we can learn from the lifestyle of a cricket is that we should always open our mouth to tell the ones we love that we are ready to take anything we were doing to the next level.

HAVE YOU SEEN ONE BEFORE? IF YES, WHERE?

Here in my state Akwa ibom in Nigeria, cricket is very common and Yes i have seen it so many times in my compound and sometimes inside the house.

ARE THEY IMPORTANT TO MAN? WHAT SIGNIFICANT ROLE DO THEY PLAY IN HUMAN LIFE?

Cricket are very important to man and also play some significant role in humans life.
To me the main important of cricket is that it is being eaten as food, i always fry the big once and eat it cause it is always so delicious.

And they are also used as medicine to cure some disease because the feed on plant and trees that contain compounds that can cure diseases.

IF THERE ARE DANGEROUS TO MAN TELL US THEIR BAD EFFECTS.

I don't thick cricket are dangerous to man, because there doesn't bite or sting us and they doesn't cause much damage to our crops except there are many.
Their only bad effect i can say is that disturbing chirping sounds they make.
