INTRODUCTION

Hello my wonderful friends of steem kids qnd parent community, i trust you guys are doing fine.
It's always my pleasure to participate in this interesting contest (Drawing Challenge) with the theme Draw a Shrimp, which was Organized by our friend @eliany.
In today's post i will be discussing about a shrimp🦐 by answering the contest questions, and also show you the steps used in drawing a Shrimp.

MATERIALS USED IN DRAWING

1. A4 - paper
2. Pencil
3. Ruler

STEPS IN DRAWING A SHRIMP

Step 1

• First i sketch out the shrimp's body

Step 2

• Then i trace it out to be visible afer that i draw out the legs

Step 3

• After that i draw the eye and antennas of the shrimp

Step 4
Then lastly, i shade the shrimp

DESCRIBE A SHRIMP🦐

Shrimp are part of the crustacean group of animals with elongated body.
There are found in rivers, sea, ocean etc, and they have a scale all over their body and also have a very long antenna.
Shrimps are slender creatures that looks like crayfish, but they are bigger than crayfish. The bigger species of shrimps are called prawns.

WHERE DO THEY LIVE?

Shrimps are aquatic animals, which automatically means they live in all kind of water which include oceans, river, sea, lakes streams etc.

DO THEY HAVE A LIFESTYLE, IF YES WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THEM, WHAT DO THEY EAT?

Shrimps are solitary, which means they like living alone, and it's something which we humans can learn from.

WHAT DO THEY EAT?

They feed on almost everything in water, starting from the algae, dead and living plants, fishes, worms, snails and even other dead shrimps.

IS IT EASILY SEEN?

Honestly, shrimps🦐 are very hard to see, though i have been o so many rivers and streams, but i have never one day see it inside the water.

HAVE YOU SEEN ONE BEFORE? IF YES, WHERE?

Yes, i have seen it so many times especially when i go to the market, and also when the fisher men comes back from fishing, they always catch a lot of shrimps

ARE THEY IMPORTANT TO MAN? WHAT SIGNIFICANT ROLE DO THEY PLAY IN HUMAN LIFE?

Shrimps are very very important to man, because it can be eaten and also be used in preparing any food you want to.
It's really reach in protein and cholesterol, but have zero carbohydrates, Vitamins and fat.

IF THEY ARE DANGEROUS TO MAN, TELL US THEIR SIDE EFFECTS

Shrimps is not a dangerous animal, because it doesn't bite or attack someone in water, but jt only hurts us with his sharp pointed head when we step on them or try to capture them.
There are only dangerous to man it's eaten raw, and the harmful bacteria called vibriosis will make us sick with an illness called vibriosis.

SIDES EFFECTS OF EATING SHRIMPS 🦐

1. You will increase the amount of protein in your body
2. You may end up having too much sodium
3. You may fall short of fat

SO TELL US HAVE YOU EATEN IT BEFORE? WHATS YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE?

Yes, i have eaten it before so many times, and i like using the shrimp in preparing stew or salad then i use white rice in eating it, of i used it in preparing okro soup.
