INTRODUCTION

Greetings to all the steemians and the wonderful kids in @steemkidss community, hope you guys are enjoying these new month cause am enjoying it as well.

You're welcome to week #19 Drawing challenge, Draw an Ant which is being organized by @eliany.
In these post i will be showing you guys the steps/techniques i used in drawing an Ant.

DESCRIBE AN ANT

Ant are very small insect that has an abdomen that is bigger than their head, they have a very tiny waist the connect their thorax and abdomen.

They hav exoskeletons which is made up of waterproof, they walk in groups to carry foods and the store their food under the ground.

WHAT CAN YOU LEARN FROM THE LIFE STYLE OF AN ANT

Actually, there are a lot of things we can learn from the life style of an ant, these include;

1. Teamwork - cause with team work you can accomplish more than if you were working alone.
2. Hardwork
3. Learning to plan ahead
4. Always having a positive mindset that we can do something and also to be self motivated.

HAVE YOU SEEN ONE BEFORE?

If yes, where?
Yes, i have seen it before, almost everyday cause there are everywhere.
I always see them on the ground/walls walking in line looking for food to eat.

ARE THEY IMPORTANT TO MAN, WHAT SIGNIFICANT ROLE DO THEY PLAY IN HUMAN LIFE?

There are important to man, cause the help in improving the soil structure. They build their houses underground by carrying soil particles from the soil to another place, and by doing these they are redistributing nutrients as they are moving the soil particles.

IF THEY ARE DANGEROUS TO MAN TELL US THEIR BAD EFFECTS

They are dangerous to man cause most of them bite and sting us when ever they come in contact with us.

MATERIALS USED FOR THE DRAWING

• A4 - paper
• Eraser
• Pencils

THE STEPS I USED IN DRAWING AN ANT

Step 1

• After i finish bordering my paper and writing my name on it, the next thing i did was sketching out an Ant.

Step 2

• Then i trace it out so that it will be very visible

Step 3

• After tracing it out, i shade the head and the antenna of the Ant

Step 4

• After that i shade the abdomen

Step 5

• After i finished shading the abdomen, i now move on in shading the thorax

Step 6

• Then lastly i shade and detail all the legs of the Ant

CONCLUSION

These has brought me to the end of my post, hope you have learn one or two things.
