Hello friends and kids of this wonderful community, how is everyone doing? I hope you'll are doing fine and enjoying your day.

You're welcome to another week drawing challenge in @steemkidss community, which was organized by our very own friend in person of @eliany, and the theme of this week challenge is Draw a Tortoise
In today's post i will be sharing and showing you the steps i used in drawing a Tortoise and also discuss a little about a tortoise by answering the contest questions.

MATERIALS USED IN DRAWING

1. A4-paper
2. Pencil
3. Ruler
4. Eraser

STEPS IN DRAWING A TORTOISE

Step 1
The first thing i did was to sketch out a Tortoise

Step 2
Then i trace it out so that it will be visible

Step 3
After tracing it out, i draw the lines on the shell of the Tortoise

Step 4
Then i shade the shell of the Tortoise so that it will look real

Step 5
After that, i shade the the body of the Tortoise

DESCRIBE A TORTOISE

A Tortoise is a slow moving reptile with a large rock-like shell on it back which they use for their protection.
They live mostly on land, unlike the turtle which live in water.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THE LIFESTYLE OF A TORTOISE?

There are some few things we can learn from the lifestyle of a Tortoise.
For example if we are outside or anywhere else and anything happens like a fight, we should always go back inside our house or find a place to hide in other to avoid getting hurt, because that's how a tortoise always do, anytime he senses or sees danger he will quickly get inside his shell and hide.

HAVE YOU SEEN ONE BEFORE? IF YES, WHERE?

Yes, that was a long time ago when i was in nursery school.
My school went on an excursion to a zoo, that was when i saw a tortoise but i wasn't close enough to touch it.

ARE THEY IMPORTANT TO MAN, WHAT SIGNIFICANT ROLE DO THEY PLAY IN HUMAN LIFE?

Yes, there are very important to man in so many ways, cause some people do keep them in the house like pets, and people also sell it in exchange for money or you can also kill it and use as meat.

IF THEY ARE DANGEROUS TO MAN, TELL US THEIR BAD EFFECTS

Yes, according to my research tortoise is dangerous to man especially man's health.
They are carriers of a bacterial called salmonella, and they also bite if someone's hand or finger mistakenly enters his mouth.

CONCLUSION
