Greetings everyone, I hope you are all doing fine and great, I am @emishael60 from Nigeria🇳🇬 and I am opportune and glad to participate in this contest, I want to thank @mesola for organizing this beautiful contest for us to have an opportunity to show what we can do best.
Today i'm here to perform in this amazing creative contest🍀 ||New DIY contest week24 begins// DIY//LETS SEE WHAT YOU CAN CREATE||.

🚹SEWING MY SENATOR WEARS🥼

Sewing wasn't part of my job or work but ,as times goes I came to realize the sweetest part of sewing cloth which is I can sew my own cloth and amend them without looking for any tailor.
So today I just get up took some raw materials of cloth I bought yesterday to makes some wears for myself.
This is how I started sewing my beautiful dress I imagine.👇

Step1 🟦

I put my scissors,✂️ measuring tape and all treads which am using to produce my clothes in thier places.
I sat down and insert the yellow tread in my sewing machine needle,as you can see in the picture below.

I brought out the raw material cloth am about to sow ,it about seven yards .

Step2 🟥

After taking measurement from my old wears ,I took the tape and the raw material to a table and measure the new cloth with my old clothes measurement.
Then I used the scissors to cut the material to the size of my body.

♦️Note

In this process you have to be really careful because when you made a mistake in the cutting that means the whole clothes are gone. Which means you have to write down the 📝measurements you took in an excersice book or judter.

After the cutting,i remeasure it to confirm the measurements I took and it was correct.

Step3 🟨

I began my sowing process the machine was giving me some hard times thoe because it's been a while I haven't used it.
So I put some machine oil in the sewing machine and it's performance improved.

Since the cloth am sowing is senator wear, up and down I began with the up. Because the up needs more time than the down. It took me about 1 hour 15 minutes to sew the top. And I was done with the up after much amendings and sewing the top was done as you can see in the picture below.

Step 4🟩

Now it's time for the down part which is the trouser.
I started the sewing after I took the measurements as well, I made sure the size I took was correct not body fit and not oversized,but normal trouser cut.
I carefully sew the trousers,put the side and back Pucket.

• My rules is that there must be no pieces of the cloth am sewing on the floor,what helps me to abide the rules is that I must carefully take the measurements correct,and not to put extra so as not to waste the materials.

My trouser is done After about 48minutes time spent.

Now it's time for me to put on the wears to see how it looks like
This is me on the picture below with the senator up and down I sew.

Wow that's means I did some great works today.
