Weekly Contest 04 || The Diary Game 11- 05-2024 || A surprised: morning sickness to evening steem

Hello friends am happy you all are benefiting from steemit same as me I wish you all to stay safe and enjoy,welcome to my diary friends your time is cherished.

Morning

"Korkorkikorkooork" the sound was from a cock. It was morning already thoe the sun started rising. "Are you still on bed ? Won't you attend morning worship??," That was my mum voice.

The morning cold did not reach me, *i woke up feeling unwell, my body heavy and my head pounding with the kind of ache that makes you wish to sink back into the power of sleep.

It was clear that I was sick, seriously sick.
I couldn't stand up from bed ,but i forcefully get up to attend the morning worship at least to thank God for the day.
I tried preparing for work I couldn't,I fall back again to sleep,after about 30 minutes sleep I woke up and realized that all my family members as gone out ,it was only me left with my sickness I didn't know what to do and I didn't tell anyone that I was sick.

The fever was getting high and headache was banging me, I couldn't walk out to buy myself some medication, I was totally weak .I later remember how my grandparents used bitter leaf for some treatment like malaria or typhoid ,with the idea I stood up go insearch of the bitter leaf and I found it outside my neighbour's compound. I took permission from him and he agreed,I plug the leafs and took it back home."

I washed it then I pound it add 1 glass of water ,the colour was already deep green.Now it's time for me to drink ,I tried several times to drink but I couldn't because of the bitterness and the odour ,after many trial I drank it successfully,after some minutes I felt sleepy and I slept.

Afternoon

**When I woke it was already noon and I was so sweaty the fever gone , headache gone .Wow it works like magic ,it was as if nothing was wrong with me. I stood up and went to a super market i bought some snacks and a cup of cool milk drink

since there was no food at home, I took it home and enjoyed myself fully,
I was now okay without any drugs taken.
About 3:25pm my neighbor came to call me ask for my help to stack blocks on his compound for him to have more space, I went there and the blocks was scattered thoe it wasn't much . With no time I started the job without talking about the price because he help me with his bitter leaf which cure my sickness .
About an hour the job was completed everywhere looks neat the blocks was 350 pieces.

I wash my hands and I was about leaving he called and gave me 4000 naira which is about 11 steem, I thank him and left ,he was happy and I was happy as well.

Evening

Dawn was already at site,

I was happy so much, l rush home over there some of my family members was already home ,mum was in the kitchen cooking rice and beans the aroma was everywhere. I greeted her then help her in the kitchen.With no time the food was done.

I smiled and we all ate and I enjoyed very well .when remembering about 11 steem Is in my pocket I smiled.
I later head off to my room to catch some funs on my phone. Boom nepa brought light and I plug my phone, waiting for it to charge full ,so that I can talk to my friends online and get to login and view blogs on steemit.
Wow this is me with no sickness but had some money on my pocket all thanks to God, I knelt down and thank 🙏 him ,my night journey begins.

Wow that's how my day was from sickness to steem on my Pucket all thanks to God.
