At preaching work with my fellow brothers and sisters

Greetings dear friends, hope you all are doing great. Let see how my day goes. Hope you all will enjoy it especially the jack fruit part. Let's see how it goes....

Morning Routine

Well, today began in the early hours of the morning. At exactly 5:00 AM, I rose and prepared for the day, waiting to see what it has ahead. I did a bit of light stretching and then followed it with my home workout. This is mostly jumping jacks, some push-ups, and some light stretches from yoga. I have always felt amazing just starting off the day doing that.

Next, my family and I had our morning worship. We gathered together to read a passage from the Bible and discuss its meaning. This time together is always special as it helps us start the day with a positive mindset and spiritual focus. After that, we had a cup of hot tea and bread for breakfast. It was a quick meal, but it gave me the energy I needed for the morning ahead.

Our worship over, I did some house chores: tidied up my room, made my bed. These minor tasks keep the house in order and make me feel I have achieved something. Up to 7:30 AM, it was time to go out for preaching. The sharing of the good news of Jehovah is a thing that gives me great joy, and I had to do it. So, I left home and joined my fellow brothers and sisters for preaching. We met and pray at the kingdom Hall. We pay in two and left to the community to share the good news from our Creator with others. There was a man I met who was sitting outside is compound his palms on his chin looking worried and overthinking. I read to him from Revelation 21:4: "And God will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things will surely passed away".
Upon hearing this, the man shed tears of joy. He told me that he believed in the Bible but had never read that verse before. He shared with me that his wife had just died a week ago and the verse gave him hope that he would see her again. He thanked the Creator for the good news, and we were happy for him too. After this touching moment, we resumed our preaching.

Afternoon Adventures

As afternoon approached, the weather became so hot to cope with, so we decided to take a break. We went searching for jack fruit, which for hot weather, is perfect because it quences thirst and hunger. In this area, in the yards of the houses about 50% of the people have jack fruit trees. The first stop that we had were fruits which weren't ripe while the second place had already been sold out.

That's when Ubikool remembered that one man who had plenty of jack fruit trees in his compound. Since it was very far on foot, we chose the short way. So, we had to go some seven minutes into the compound but were taken aback because everywhere was fully packed with the jack fruits which were now turned ripe; we smiled. We all beamed smiling for our not worthless efforts. When the owner emerged, we met him over a price agreement. He agreed to sell at the rate of 500 naira per fruit, which is approximately 1.5 Steem according to the market rate. We bought a total of 10 big jack fruits with 5000 naira equivalent to 15 Steem.

The fruits were too big in size and heavy, so we couldn't carry them home. We decided to eat the fruits there and asked the man for a knife, and he gave us one. Having cleaned our hands, Ubikool began cutting the fruit into smaller bits, which we both took a portion of and enjoyed its juicy sweet taste.

I must confess, I am in love with jack fruit; the taste and smell is something one should never miss. After hours of rest and enjoyment of fruits, it was time for cleaning up. The gum from this fruit is very sticky, and without oil, it's quite difficult to remove; we were therefore given some red oil for washing our hands. After all the fun was over, we left for the Kingdom Hall to get our cars and head home.

Evening Activities

Back at home, I felt accomplished with all that had been done on this day. First, I took a quick shower to freshen up. Then, I browsed Facebook for some time and chatted with friends on WhatsApp. It was so relaxed catching up with everyone and seeing what they were all up to. I also watched some funny videos online; it gave me a good laugh. Later, I took a short sleep to rest before night came. Rousing, dinner was already ready. Soon, I joined my family to eat the delicious meal prepared by mum: afang soup and eba, my favorite meal. I did some light stretching in bed to stretch my muscles before retiring. I lay on my bed, counting all that had happened on this day. It was a perfect mix of activity, rest, and productivity.

Today was a very good day with lots of things that kept me busy and happy: Jehovah's Witnesses passed the good news in the morning, jack fruit for lunchtime snacks, and sitting with family in the evening. Indeed, these mouth-watering foods, exercises, and moments of rest made the day perfect. I look forward to such a day full of joy, productivity, and fun.
