Greetings to the wonderful steemians of this community, it's @emmaboy23 from nigeria and today I have come to partake in this contest organized by @mesola. Valentine is almost near and I wanted to create something to represent that day, crafting a gift from scratch requires time, patience and effort, but the end result is always worth it. I decided to make a valentine day gift which is a beautiful and creative way to express love, care and appreciation. Here's how I created this craft

MATERIALS

• Brushes
• Scissors
• Marker pen
• 2B pencil dark
• Surgical tape
• Glitter paper
• Colour paper
• Bamboo stick
• Acrylic colour
• Brown paper cardboard

PROCEDURE

step I

To begin with my craft, I used a round plastic cover to draw a circle shape on my cardboard, then I used my Scissor to cut it off.

Next I cut a love shape on my cardboard, then I also cut a rectangular shape on my cardboard and folded it.

After doing that, I then applied gum on the folded cardboard and then I gum it to the love shaped cardboard.

Next using red acrylic colour I coloured the Love shape cardboard and then I began to cut both small and big piece of love shape on the gilter paper and coloured paper and then I attached them to the bamboo sticks.

Here I have made a nice shape by rounding a cardboard and making a small design by cutting it with scissors.

Then the bamboo sticks with the love shaped gilter is attached to the round cardboard to design it and then I added my cardboard design in the middle.

Here I have cut a moon shaped red colour paper and used a black marker to write happy Valentine's day then made a flower design using my red coloured paper.

Next I attached the rose flower on top of the cardboard design, then I gum the happy Valentine's day design to the craft.

After finishing all the process and steps involved my craft was finally ready and this is my final result.

Diy gifts allows people to be more resourceful and creative, by using simple materials like paper, fabric and recycled items one can create something truly beautiful and sentimental.
