My recreation review

Greetings and welcome to my blog, I am @emmaboy23 a Nigerian steemian and I am here today to write on this contest titled: recreation review, I will like to thank @steemkidss for selecting me as one of the winners for last week contest and also organizing this contest once more. As human beings, there are many activities we love doing and as such are regarded as recreational activities. They are many recreational activity which one love doing and some includes sewing, drawing, hair dressing, etc , today i will be writing on my recreation activity i love doing during my free time which is sewing.

Sewing as a skill has been with us since we started wearing clothes, while fashion has become one of the most popular and biggest trend across the globe many has dive into the habit of sewing and has created tremendous styles. For me sewing is a departure, it's a task that calls for both your hands at work and your attention to detail. Sewing is a perfect opportunity to indulge in "me time", I spend a lot of time in my work and school activities and sewing is one of the best ways i spend time with myself and indulge in a "me time" with myself.

When I am sewing, I am solely paying full attention to the task at hand, exercising my hands and eye judgment to produce a wonderful piece. It allows me to feel accomplishment that comes with standing back and admiring the fine piece of work i have just done. Sewing is a project which can be accomplished With time and steps, which means it can be paused and continued after whenever you feel like i and do not have to complete it at a time. This recreation activity adds to the process of taking the piece one at a time and not in a rush, like the way we should take life slow and steady. Sewing is always fun and exciting to learn, it can be practiced with the use of machine or hand base. Making a fabric with the sewing machine is one of the common methods people use to make different fabrics and it can also be done at different periods in the day, both in the morning and afternoon but not at night because you won't be able to see what you are doing.

Whenever I see tailors I admire them and praise them because its not easy for one to sit in a place sewing for a long time to produce a beautiful fabric and some may even sit from morning till night doing a particular work, indeed they are amazing. I am still a learner in the field of sewing but I have produced some clothes which my mom wears, below is a picture of the clothe which my mom is wearing.

In conclusion, I think that sewing is a good activity one can engage in and it also gives me a free state of mind void from any stress and problems.
