Hello my fellow steemians! I am glad to share with you this short tutorial on how to make a delicious puff puff. Wow! I am @emmathompson your fellow steemian. So today, I made some delicious puff-puff and I thought it will be wise to share with you this few tips. So you can also make it yourself.
I will simply break this tutorial into four parts in order to make it simple and comprehensive enough for you.

Perfect, right? You can't be an African person, West African person or Nigerian without knowing what a "Puff-Puff" is all about. But in case, you were born with a silver spoon and you never had a chance of knowing or eating this delicious snack, I am here to make you learn and probably make it yourself at your free time.
- WHAT IS PUFF PUFF?
In my own definition, I will say a puff puff is a small light brownwish, dough ball-like snack. Yes! Just like buns, that is served as snack.
There are two types of puff-puff:
a. Soft
b. Hard
Generally, I prefer the hard puff-puff. Although, both of them are made in the same process but the results are ddifferent.
- USES OF PUFF-PUFF.
Puff-puff can used as:
- Snack for breakfast with tea or pap.
- Snack with drink
- For money: puff-puff can be sold for money.
In fact, puff puff business is a good business in Nigeria. You can make it in large quantity and sold in whole sale to retailers or you can retail them yourself or better still have a sitout with drinks where people buy at ease. Such sitouts should be near a populated environment like schools, parks etc.
- WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED INGREDIENTS AND OTHER NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS FOR PUFF-PUFF?
(a) The following are the ingredients for making a delicious puff-puff:
- Flour, *sugar, *salt, *yeast, *nutmeg, *milk, *vanilla flavor (optional), *water
(b) These are the other requirements for making puff-puff:
Vegetable oil (preferably "kings oil, *large mixing bowl, *frying pan or wide-mouth pot, *Gas cylinder, stove or firewood.
- HOW TO MAKE THE PUFF-PUFF?
Step 1.
Wash your hands thoroughlyand dry them.
Step2.
Pour some quantity of flour into a clean bowl, add some quantity of sugar and small quantity of salt for taste. Add yeast, milk, vanilla flavor if needed, nutmeg, and turn it into one dry mixture.
Step3.
Then add small quantity of clean water and turn it. Keep on adding water until the mixture is turned into thick paste.
Step4.
Allow it for 1-2hours for the yeast to work on it.
Step5.
To cut the paste into a dough, apply some dry flour on your hand and cut them into your desire size. Cut as many as possible.
Step6.
Put on the fire, in your desire instrument.
Put a frying pan or pot on it. Pour some quantity of your vegetable oil in the pan or pot.
Step 7.
When the oil is hot, put the cut doughs in the oil and fry them. Ensure to regulate the temperature for the safety of your puff puff. When the body of the puff-puffs have turned light brownwish color, remove them. Hurray! Your Puff-puffs are ready.
- CONCLUSION:
Puff-puff is a very delicious and popular snack found all around us if you are living in Nigeria, West Africa or Africa as a whole. If you have not experienced the taste of this delicious snack, try and make them yourself using the above listed guides.
