Steemkidss contest || Let's go shopping for our kids by @ faithilyn.

Children love gifts because it's one way for them to know that they are loved and cared for. When I leave home in the morning going to work, my girls usually tell me to bring them ice cream on my way back home. Some times I do and some times I don't but whenever I come back home from work, the first they they do is to ask for their ice cream.😄and when I don't have it, you see their faces so changed from being happy to sad

On some good days I go shopping for my girls and I usually buy them dolls shoes, dresses, hair band etc. But I believe the best gift to buy for kids also depends on the age of the kids.

Now for me my girls are two and a half and one and a half and my two and a half daughter loves dressing up. So if you want to be her friend, just buy her some thing nice to put on like shoes, dresses jackets etc.

And my other little girl loves playing and eating. So if at all you want her to be happy just gift her with anything to play with and anything nice to eat😋. So I usually buy her dolls, balls, toy cars and biscuits, ohhh she loves sausages.

I remember an incident that happened a few months back at home when my husband did shopping for the girls. He bought nice shoes for both girls but the girl who is two years and a half didn't like her shoes and instead wanted to take the shoes for her baby sister of course which were not fitting her. She cried alot and created alot of commotion at home but thankfully we were able to make her see that her shoes were nice and she eventually put them on.By the way at the end of the day, she never wanted to even remove them. She ended up sleeping in them but of course we removed them when she was asleep😄

Gifts to our kids show our love and care for them. It shows that we think about them and also that we are grateful to God for entrusting us to take care of them. So at any opportunity we get, we should surprise the kids with those things they love. And with that, their love and confidence in us grows. I love seeing the smile of my girls whenever I gift them. Even when they don't say thank you momma, the smile alone says it all.
