Families desire to bond with their members. Though there are natural bonds between members of a family, they still need to strengthen the bonds. This can be done through their spending quality time together, and most of the time, routine activities foster bonding because there would be fun and healthy conversations between members of the family. My family is not exempted from having quality time through routine activities, such as; praying together, playing games and watching movies, going for a picnic, and doing house chores together. My family
PRAY TOGETHER
We begin our days as a family by praying to God Almighty together. We thank him for his provisions and protection. During this time, we express our feelings to him and make our supplication and petition known to him, then we will beg him to bond us together as a family. I believe this routine has helped us greatly.
PLAY GAMES AND WATCH MOVIES
My wife and I always make time to play games together. This moment is always fun because it always avails us the privilege to converse together, and exhibit childish behavior in us. I will try to cheat my wife in Games such as; 'WHOT', and when she got me cheating, she playfully expressed her concerns and also tried to cheat too. This moment always connects us and bonds us. We are not just a couple, but best friends.
Watch movies together: My wife and I always make time to watch movies together. She loves movies a lot, and on the other, I am not a fan of movies, but I always watch movies with her. During this time, we will express our concerns about each character in the movie, and though I am not a fan, I always pick interest and share my opinion. I have come to appreciate this moment because it draws us closer to each other. I always enjoyed seeing my wife being shielded by me whenever she watched a terrifying scene in movies.

PICNIC
We always make time for social gatherings as a family. We would drink and eat together, we would discuss and play jokes, and at times we would express how we felt if any of the mates was wronged, and this was only done if the matter had not been solved. This moment is always fun, it bonds us and avails us the privilege of getting to know each other better throughout the day.

HOUSE CHORES
In this part of the world, if a man helps his wife with house chores like washing dishes and clothes, he is named a 'woman rapper' which means he's dominated by his wife. But I don't imbibe such culture; I always make time, at least once a week, to help my wife with house chores. I am always happy to see the happy expression on her face. This moment always connects us and bonds us. My wife sees me as her partner, not her ruler, and I feel married couples are partners. This, my belief, makes my wife love, respect, and appreciate me more.
Routine activities such as; praying together, playing games and watching movies, going for a picnic, and doing house chores bond my family. These activities help us get to know each other better, it helps us see the good in each other, and appreciate each other. What about you? I would like to know.
