Every life in a household or family will always have problems, but every problem will definitely have a solution if we want to build good communication between each other to find the key to the problem. In our family, we call this good communication. with the word "Deliberation".

So, on this occasion I would like to tell you about our family's experience when we faced a serious problem, but with good communication between each other, the problem we faced was finally resolved well without harming anyone.

Actually, the problem we received at that time was not an internal problem in our family, but an external problem that befell our family. One day my father was riding a motorbike and suddenly he was hit by another person from the opposite direction.

At that time, the incident occurred at one of the road corners near our village. As we all know, in an accident like this, both parties must justify themselves in order to escape responsibility, both from my family and the family that hit my father.

Even though there were several eyewitnesses who saw the incident directly who said that my father was not at fault, our family did not immediately sue the family of the person who hit my father because we wanted to build a good community so that the problem could be resolved peacefully.

A few days later, when my father and the person who hit my father had recovered from the injuries received as a result of the accident, finally both sides of our family held a deliberation which was attended by village leaders from both sides.

That night, our family was really cornered because the person who hit my father asked our family for compensation, but we didn't fight back in the slightest and instead remained silent while looking for a good solution because my father was the one who should be the victim.

We also asked for several opinions from village leaders so that this problem could be resolved well without having to burden one side. Finally, after hearing instructions from the village leader and the people present that night, we came to the conclusion that we had to repair the damaged motorbikes from both parties first.

Then the costs that each of us spent for medical treatment and repairing our respective vehicles were added up, so we had to submit the costs to the village leader so that we could all know who had the most to lose in this incident, if it was one of the two parties. If the party whose repair and medical costs are higher, the party whose medical and repair costs are lower must pay the party who incurred the higher repair and medical costs half the higher costs.

For example, the excess fee is $10 USD, then the amount that must be paid by the other party is $5 USD so that the problem is fair.

After we added up all the costs, the bigger loss came from our family. However, we still don't ask for any more payment from the person who hit our family because we consider this problem as a disaster that cannot be predicted and can happen at any time, and the person who hit my father has apologized profusely to our family. .

From the story above, we can realize that the effect of good communication is very big, if only that night we were provoked by emotions because we were pushed too hard, then we, who had lost a lot, would have to pay again to the party who hit my father.

However, because our communication was very good and we were willing to hear the solution given by the village leader that night, we didn't have to spend any more money to pay the person who had hit our father.

After learning from this problem, now I am more silent and prefer to listen to other people's opinions first before I speak, because it could be that my thoughts are still wrong and other people can give better opinions than me.

And in our current family, we also always listen to each other, so that the communication we build can make our family more harmonious.
