Gifts are items given to someone without any request for payment. It is given wholeheartedly with love and people who receive this gifts are always happy to do so.
We have all received gifts in our lifetime and we majority of this happens in our childhood days, where we go got different kind of gifts from family friends, uncle's, aunties and so on. The happiness and show of love a child had while getting these gifts were all so massive that it would trigger one to get another one some other time.
I had received quite a number of gifts during my childhood moments, and would love to share some with you all. Before I go there I would love to tell the occasion in which gifts are given. It is mainly given in a birthday party, the gift box is well packaged and given to the celebrant, sometimes it's hard to predict what's inside untill the seal is broken. Wedding ceremony also welcomes and receive gifts giving, they give chance to the friends, families and everyone who came for the wedding to present their gifts, many gifts like refrigerator, a tv set, baby's clothing's and so on can be given that day. Another event in which gifts can be shared is a child's dedication ceremony, this actually marks the beginning of many kids receiving gifts even tho it's not in their memory, they bring in lot of baby things for the baby.

When I was really conscious to remember what gifts I was given was now from my primary 3 class in my primary school. Every end of the year's party we would receive our gifts from Santa Claus, which then we thought was invited from where he was, we were all so happy then and scared at the moment as we were happy to take pictures with the Santa Claus. Every term in our school we were always given gifts and I have received many plates and books which I do look at this time to remember. It is really a think of joy to know I received such gifts, there are more gifts which I received from family friends during my childhood days.
Reaching my final year in primary school, Milo brand came to our school for advertisement and they called all the students out, we all really had fun as we were richly received by them, alot of games were played and if you were able to win, yo would be given a long roll of Milo sachet drink, we were so eager to win. My friend was able to win this roll by throwing in the basket ball. After the whole fun they told our teachers that they had gifts for some of us, from class 2-6, that people that used to take first position in class were fit for these gifts, immediately our teacher picked me and others from the other classes, is afraid at the moment to face such a crowd, as this was my first time to receive a gift from such crowd. We were asked few questions and then our package was given on that podium, some of the pupils received balls, pen and lots more, I was actually given a cap branded with the Milo name, and 5 sachets of Milo, with a book. This was as actually one of my best gifts received, and I was just very ready to reach home to show off my Milo cap, Milo drink and books, I was so excited that I received such gifts, it was actually unexpected.
I actually fell really happy to receive those gifts from the Milo drink company and I really appreciated their work. It was actually a surprise gift as none of us expected it, we were just having a normal class on a Wednesday, then we heard loud music from our field, we over heard the teachers saying Milo came to see us, we were confused and shocked till we reached there. They actually promised to come back the next term and everyone moved to compete, they wanted that first position so badly so they could receive their gifts, I actually saw it as a way of helping the kids to be on their toes with education. But they did scam us, because they never came back.
